I liked that movie because it had a good idea that made sense along with the Predator science fiction story.

They need to expand the types of stories they tell vs the Predator just coming to Earth and hunting people.

There could have some really awesome stories if they wanted to.

I haven't watched it but it sounds like hollywood has become too lazy to do any research at all based on the reviews I've read. It shows cartridges (this is the musket era) and bear traps that didn't exist in 1719, and at that time the comanche weren't well established as a mid-west power and hadn't much other than the spanish and other native tribes.

Yeah it was decent. Not perfect by any means (good luck flying a completely alien craft lol) and the acting was a bit cheesy in some parts, but the character choices were colorful and the general idea was a good one.

She killed 5 fully grown white soldiers in hand to hand combat (with 0 training) then took on the Predator 1v1, she could have replaced the entire team from the first movie

The Predator story line is amazing. Its a shame that Hollywood only pumps out dog-**** movies around them.

They did a terrible job integrating native American culture & tribalism. They also did a terrible job on the natives costumes. They also drew their bowstrings completely wrong. The Comanche were badasses IRL. They wouldn't have ended up captured and caged by some Europeans with black powder weapons. I feel like this rendition was basically a liberals vision on how European contact with Native American's went.


An accurate portrayal of the Comanche would have been the young warriors out raiding other tribes. Killing men. Raping women. And taking children as slaves. If the female (main character) talked out of turn she'd have been beaten with a stick. We have extensive documentation from multiple Europeans that were taken prisoner and lived among them on what they were like.


I'm sure the libs are going to give this feel good flick a high rating. But that's only because there was 0 historical accuracy.

The real irony of the situation is the Comanche tribe would have been a worthy target of a Predator and this movie could have been a badass rendition for the series. Oh well.

It's not really a ridiculously woke film. It's as woke as Mulan or any film that shows a female character trying to prove herself. It has some goofy sh!t in it no doubt, but overall, if this film is the threshold for as woke as a film can get, I'll take it. It's not Ghostbusters 2016, Terminator: Dark Fate, Get Out, or the Disney Star Wars films. They basically just decide to use the backdrop of Native America. Add some French hunters because they want to add guns to the film, and voila, it's predator vs an older civilization. They could easily do something like this in the future with vikings and samurais which I would watch. If you decide not to watch it, you're not missing out. But I did think it was worth a watch. I did laugh at the Indians speaking English and one saying he was going to take a squat.
