Pizza night gym PIC of a 50 year old (almost)
Friday is always pizza night in our house. I can guarantee for the past 15 years I pretty much have eaten pizza every friday.
Gym routine is my 'bro' workout. Shoulders and arms. I dont count reps or sets. Just randomly do stuff and crank some music up.
Less than 6 months till I turn 50. At times I wonder what I am still doing grinding in the gym 4 days a week after all these years. But then I have a night like tonight where I feel pretty good about where I am.
InB4 all haters.
Was lifetime natty until on actual medically prescribed trt due to head injury 13 years ago leaving me hypo gonadal for real. Been on TRT 10yrs now. Sad but true this is my physique pretty much past decade. Hard to tell progress. Never done enough to see any differences so I just keep it simple. Tried a few 'beginner' things after I did not have to worry about recovery but could not tell difference between 500 and 150. Script is 200, but feel best at 125 which puts me in the 700's. But will never say it has not helped maintaining mass at lower bf levels.

OP none of us care which drugs you have done. I really don't know why people keep resorting to that but it seems younger people are quicker to admit what they take while the older crowd can't shake the taboo. Literally no one cares lol.

Was still natty in left pic. That was 3 years after coming back to the gym. This is basicly a 10 year progress. About 6-7lbs heavier lbm but very close to same scale weight in both pics. (203ish)
2nd pic was about a year before I went on trt. At time I had test levels of a 12 year old girl but had not figured it out yet.
Last ones are leanest I ever got nattie. You can see I shed a lot of mass getting down. I was 193 and below 10% in the last two. Yes, lifetime nattie still.
And pic of me at 21 going waaay back when I was still a baby after my first 3 years of training. I put on 50lbs pretty quickly. So as you can see, I have been at this a while....

compare a natty female vs. juiced up female. natty women are not capable of growing muscles the way men do, no matter how much "work" they put in.

My testosterone was below the bottom of the scale. He used the term 'you are about where a 12 year old girl would be test level wise'.So because of a head injury (and I am sorry) your Dr allegedly prescribes steroids and you put on what looks like 20 lbs of muscle and you seem to feel this is normal? I don't even know what to say man, hope you are monitoring your blood pressure, my dad died from that at your age
Here is my latest bloodwork from about 3 months ago. My bp stays 115/75. This is not the bloodwork of a guy gassing himself dude. you dont get it...but that is ok.

When I went on trt and no longer had to worry about recovery, I figured I would try bumping it once all was settled in normal. I ran a 500mg run for 14 weeks while eating a perfect 350 cal surplus. I gained weight as predicted as I always did when eating a surplus, but then when I dieted down I was the same place where I was before I started. I tried it again, and again the same effect. So 20 weeks of eating up and dieting down wasted for nothing. I talked to a friend with a lifetime of experience and he said at my level of development and the years I have been training that I would need to 'take the training wheels off' and run more than 'beginner' runs to see a difference. That did not interest me so I chose not to.
100% truth, I cant tell a difference between 125 and 500. ZERO. I actually feel best at lower levels. My script is 200 but I stay at 125 most times. I have been dieting down so I keep 200 just because it cant hurt.
I have never seen a change in my physique or strength from any anabolics, but I have probably never taken enough to see it. I could not handle losing strength so I never wanted to take something at a level where I would lose if I came off. Plus, I was very late to hanging up my nattie card and would have stayed natural if I did not need trt for legit medical reasons.

But in talking with my GP, he is the one that said 'something is not right'. Everyone else dismissed it as after effects of head trauma. Which they were. I damaged my pituitary. After some research, 20% of people who have a similar head injury have hormone deficiencies following. (which I only found out later)

You look fantastic for any age, especially 50.
I’m skeptical if I’m supposed to believe these results come from lifting only at 4 days a week. Seems like you’re hiding something
