As I mentioned in a post above. The 1-10 scale is a pyramid. The guy that is a 7, will have to compete against a segment of the male 8’s, the majority of the 7’s and a small minority of 6’s.

So the guy has to set himself up to be the best 7 of the bunch to try and get the best girl that is a 7, or maybe land an 8, (if he has money maybe a 9/10). He also has the ability to pull from the 6 pool.

The girls have to do likewise because of the downward pressure the girl 10s create, who literally have their pick of the men.

A level down, sure, but if he has a chance to get a girl at his level or above he’s going to take that first. If he’s having to root around 2+ levels there’s something wrong with him. And there’s not that many that would be 2+ levels down so it’s not even competition that you have to worry about.

The main competition for your level is maybe 1% 2+ levels above you, 20% the level directly above you, 77% your level, and 2% the level below you. The 20% directly above are bottom of the barrel of that level, so there’s a reason they aren’t selected. That gives you a chance to exploit that weakness (ambition, humor, masculinity, etc.)

I think a large portion of it is that social media/the internet has really exposed all women to top shelf men. And higher tier men just like to fukk so they'll entertain lower tier women to get laid.
That means if you're a lower tier dude. Either because of looks or personality. You have to pretty much look for girls that aren't on social media/dating apps all the time.

But another portion of it is just mens failures themselves.


I'm in a LTR but my girls cousins/friends hang around all the time. There are a ton of non-sl00ty girls in the 20-30 range that just can't find a guy because so many guys are either losers or are just trying to plow them ASAP. I'm sure there are lots of decent guys within their standards. But I'm assuming these guys are fairly anti-social and don't get out much. These girls don't even have ridiculous standards. They want a guy that's at least the same height as them when they are in heels (So probably at least 5'6-5'7 tall). They want a guy that just has a decent job. And they want a guy who's life isn't a train-wreck in terms of debt, baggage, children, etc.




I'm nothing special. Decent facial aesthetics. 5'8. Juiced physique. Bald head. Slightly above average income, but I invest a lot/am fairly frugal. Personality is conservative/slightly reserved but I do like to have fun too. These girls act like I'm a freaking unicorn and tell my girlfriend how lucky she is. (srs) I have absolutely 0 doubts if I broke up with my girl I could start sliding in the DM's of her friends and could secure about 8-10 different dates/hookups within the first week.

A big part of it is girls that aren't on dating apps just never meet decent guys. And so many guys are so autistic now they can't socialize/approach women in public.

A 10 guy will 100% settle for a 7 girl because she’s way more likely to be agreeable and submissive than his female 10 counterpart.

Men are way more likely to settle than women because men are naturally more competitive in the dating market than women are with each other. We get tired of competing. And girl 1 or 2 points down will do in any case for a relationship depending on how submissive she is. That plays a huge factor over looks.
