Another reason this raid is likely totally misguided: Trump is going to use it to get more support for a 2024 run. Repubs really need someone who is not trump to run in 2024.

IMO, they wouldn't raid unless they had him dead to rights on something. It would be too risky politically. They HAVE to have something.

I think if this were politically motivated, it would be extremely brazen and stupid. But like I said, I'm going to wait and see what happens first. Keep in mind this raid is coming from the highest levels of FBI and DOJ so if this is politically motivated, that's going to look really bad. Like that is country ending bad. Like civil war bad.

I think its both politically motivated and possible he gets charged for mishandling classified info. I mean its pretty common that politicians do that.
