Caught some fish recently

Finally figuring out how to post pics again.


Anyway, was out sunday morning and got these fellas






And this one last night. That makes 13 musky in the last month and a half.

I keep fish regularly, but never anything big. The big ones are almost always female and do the spawning and releasing them ensures a sustainable fishery, so they all go back. I am very careful with them and legitimately take steps to ensure they go back in good shape and survive.

I keep small to mid sized pike, walleye and smallmouth bass. Small fish are also healthier, as heavy metals and other pollutants haven't had a chance to bioaccumulate in them.

Also keep lake trout in winter.

Nice part about musky is that they generally turn on and start biting right at dusk. So going out after work is sufficient to have a good chance at one.

In the fall the real big walleye bite well after dark. Gives me something to do when its dark by fukkin 6pm.

I actually gained a bit.

Work got crazy and my joints started hurting because my diet went to ****. Stopped lifting for 2 months now.

First time in 3 years.

Gonna get back on it soon.

Georgian Bay is a big ass bass factory. Ill eat them in the 14-15" range. We get smallies up to 23", so anything over 16 goes back.

Bro thats some responsible fishing

I tried trout out herein California fresh caught 12 years ago and it was so dam good. We cooked it up and added some garlic butter and cajun seasoning to dip it in, only problem is the tiny bones.
