Braves need to be careful or they won’t even make the playoffs if they let the loss of the division crumble them. Playing like utter sh-t against the Red Sox practically trying to lose.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Last year you traded a 3rd for Scherzer and you thought that was fair. This year a 3rd for an injured Stanton and Miranda is insulting? LOL ok

Scherzer is old af. Good, but old af. That’s the reason why Krazy wasn’t able to unload him. Dude’s going to have the same issue with Trout. Let’s not act like Scherzer is a top tier fantasy commodity anymore.

Didn’t know you could predict a 34 year old would stay just as good 5 years later. Let me interest you in one slightly used Charlie Blackmon.

Was talking about him earlier today with a buddy of mine......when's the last time you remember Scherzer getting rocked? Or Verlander? I can't recall ever and I watch baseball pretty religiously. Seems like those 2 are solid almost 100% of the time, even if they lose. I don't get it. I guess this is just what hall of fame pitching looks like.....but at their age? Cole throws harder, has just as good of stuff as them......gets rocked feels like once every few months. Watching Scherzer, he throws strikes....hittable pitches people just don't hit him, baffles me. If he throws a slider away, they chase, constantly.

WHY THE FCUK IS HE SO GOOD ALL THE TIME AND HE'S 38 AND VERLANDER IS ALMOST 40.
I walk amongst you.......but I am not one of you.

He's f*cking cheating that's why. When did the Dodgers not encourage cheating? Same with the Nats. We pretending he hasn't carried those habits to NYM now? It's interesting Taijuan Walker is suddenly unhittable too. Scherzer teaching him how to cheat. Along with their bullpen which routinely implodes on them all of a sudden untouchable with Scherzer's arrival.

F*ck him and the Dodgers and the Mets.... bunch of cheating ass holes.

Remember last year when the Dodgers took Pujols from the Angels hitting .200 with a .600 OPS and turned out 12 HRs, .250 avg and .759 OPS?? WTF?? Now he's on the Cardinals back to sucking hitting .228, .711 OPS and half as many HRs in as many ABs as he had with LAD.

The Dodgers are known cheaters. It's not even questionable any more. No matter who they bring in they hit or pitch like superstars. So Scherzer being a cheater fits in with this narrative imo.

Adam Ottovino and Edwin Diaz were both in the midst of seeing their career turn in the wrong direction being 3.50+ ERA pitchers and suddenly Scherzer arrives and they both have career years? That's one hell of a coincidence jus saying

It makes sense they’re cheating. Think about all these years and never winning a real championship. The pressure must be enormous so they cheat but still can’t bring one home lmao

They definitely cheat though. That’s confirmed

Braves did it again. Another superstar called up tonight.

Swanson seeing his future replacement. No need to sign him to a big contract. Get him on your fantasy team now boyos

Yankees hold on to prospects in the minors almost too long until they either trade them or they fizzle out and evaporate. Remember Jesus Montero LOL

Don’t worry, the Braves like to enter long stretches with incredible talent and only win the entire thing once.

We have the 1 title for this new stretch and likely won’t win anything for 30 more years. It’s the Braves way.

Lots of failed playoff appearance await over the next decade plus though! Exciting times!

Another beautiful night in New York City

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
