I played Division 1 tennis in college.

A lot of it is a competitive mindset and deep concentration. It’s just you and the ball.

Don't underestimate the power of positive visualization. I seen a guy win a competition with minimal training. He said he just positively visualized winning for weeks/months and relied on his past experience to carry him through

Maybe it was just his past training that helped him prepare but it was still interesting to see

Finding and having superior motivation to push you to train hard.
