Think you vs a badger. One good kick to the head will kill a badger. But my money is on the badger despite your size advantage

I dont think you realize how big a 10 foot tall 1000 pound plus animal is unless you see one in person

the bear I saw in person literally had steak knives for claws it was insane

bears have thick fur and a protective layer of fat, could absorb a chit ton of superficial damage before any critical damage is done. while cats are sleek with little fur or fat and would sustain heavy damage with every strike from a bear

And look up photos of Kodiak Brown Bear’s necks.

They are extremely protected by their shoulders / chest, and their neck / head the size of a 55 gallon drum.

I’ve dressed out numerous brown bear (lifelong Alaskan, hunter, and lived on Kodiak Island for over 9 years). No cat is getting any kind of kill bite on their neck.

And if a cat is close enough to try and bite a bear, it means it’s inside the bears effective range as well. The bear wins that battle every time.

I'm surprised people think that too.

They must be underestimating the defence mechanisms of the bear... the fur/skin/muscle/skull thickness.

There's a reason why you can shoot a Kodiak or grizz multiple times and it will keep on chugging.

A Male Lion or a Mexican Fighting Bull.

Bulls are probably the most potentially destructive and violent mammal and have been known to kill lions. Their horns are just unreal. They basically just eviscerate you instantly with their godlike power.

There are videos of an entire pride of lions trying to take down one single Buffalo and it takes hours.

Trust me, I’ve studied this in the past. It’s all based on movement science.

Obviously nothing can stand toe-to-toe with an Elephant but that’s not even a fair fight. They push trees over like they’re toothpicks.

Also, Hippos rely on being in an aquatic environment although they are incredibly impressive and aggressive.


Obviously, the Elephant wins. But for similarly sized opponents, I got the fighting bull

Cougars do very well VS much larger bears, so I would think a massive Amur tiger would at least match the Kodak bear. If the fight doesn’t go its’ way, the cat will simply run away. No chance the bear can catch it.

Your argument is that the bear vs tiger contest was rigged, because the bear was American while the tiger was foreign (LMAOOO).

Then you quoted another miscer saving the cats had been transported/kept in cages, while the bear was wild. There is no need for a rebuttal here, because the facts regarding skull vs paw doesn’t change even if it’s a wild tiger.

It’s crazy that you think a tiger has the brain power and/or agility to avoid getting hit in the head. It’s not a boxing match where the tiger will jab, jab and move.
One hit from a paw to the skull and the cat is done. It’s in insurmountable disadvantage to the cats.

As what the other miscer said. None of you have seen a kodiak in real life, it seems. The big ones are literally twice the size of a big grizzly.
