Trying to avoid saying the usual popular ones like Usual Suspects, Saw....etc.
Never been more irrationally pissed at the end of a movie than I was for The Mist.

I know it gets somewhat overlooked because of how successful it became on DVD, but Fight Club was a massive twist back in the day before the internet ruined spoilers and twists.

This movie is like the 80s version of Eyes Wide Shut, but on steroids. It's a black comedy and body horror. I'm honestly surprised this movie is not more talked about amongst the Conspiracy Crowd. This is the exact thing they love theorizing over.

The full movie is available on YT

Crash (1996) Cray, cray film about people who get aroused by accidents and disasters, and intentionally orchestrate them to get off to.

The song Warm Leatherette by The Normal was inspired by the book, Crash by J.G. Ballard the movie is based on

Grace Jones also did her own cover, but I prefer the club edit by D T over her rendition

Lyrics
Lyrics
Warm Leatherette
See the breaking glass
In the underpass
See the breaking glass
In the underpass
Warm Leatherette
Hear the crushing steel
Feel the steering wheel
Hear the crushing steel
Feel the steering wheel
Warm Leatherette
Break
Warm Leatherette
Warm leatherette melts
On your burning flesh
You can see your reflection
In the luminescent dash
Warm Leatherette
A tear of petrol is in your eye
The hand brake penetrates your thigh
Quick lets make love before you die
Warm Leatherette
Join the car crash set

Starry Eyes (2014) A nice clean cut girl tries to make it big, with less than stellar results. Not for the faint of heart.

The Perfect Host (2010) Criminally underrated Comedy Thriller. Mad I just heard about it in 2020, but well worth the watch.

Game Night (2018) Funny thriller and overall great popcorn movie with lots of unpredictable moments.

Another one of my favorite Spanish films, La Cara Oculta (2011) in addition to the very first one mentioned in the OP. Something about the Spanish cinematography industry churns out top notch Drama Mystery Thrillers. Or it could just be the Foreign (+Independent) Film Industry in general.

I will be including some short films that are less than 30 mins long, but are as good as full feature films, and have some very clever plot twists that blew me away.

I liked The Empty Man. I was expecting some sort of monster horror with a Slenderman like baddie.

It wasn't like that at all. It went somewhere I wasn't expecting at all, and I loved it.

There's also the movie Coherence about a comet that passes over a dinner party and splits the universe into infinitely many copies. Incredibly mind fukky movie.
Back off, Warchild.

Not really...there are movies out there that are categorized as thrillers, and they'll even say "with a twist", but you still might not be able to guess the twist.

I remember watching The Mist, and would've never guessed the ending. Even though my friend told me beforehand there's a crazy twist in it.

One of the best I've seen recently is Forgotten on Netflix. It's a korean psychological thriller.

Badass Film, REVENGE (2017) Directed by French Film maker Coralie Fargeat.

I love when films have a modest beginning, then the intensity just builds up and never lets up.

Brief synopsis: Sugarbaby goes on a weekend getaway with her married suitor and his friends.

There are plenty of great films with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. Some of our favorites include The Sixth Sense, The Prestige, and The Usual Suspects.
