I'm decent at sports betting but have small stake money. Should I take out a loan? Also only a couple hours away from a casino and not terrible luck at roulette

Outside of Car loans or a mortgage don't take loans. Personal loans have ridiculous interests regardless of credit. Unless you are going homeless and need a rent check I wouldn't take one but at that point you are already ****ed and the loan just delays you for a month.

As far as I’m concerned there are really only 4 ways to make a respectable income.

1. Go to college > start a white collar career > retire at 65 w/ 401(k) + investments

2. Learn a trade > join the union > retire around 55 w/ pension + investments

3. Join the military > stay a career military man or get a GI bill > retire around 45

4. Start a business > scale until you make it > retire whenever

This list is also ranked easiest to hardest and least risk to most risky. However your earning potential goes up exponentially when you start your own business. You seem like someone who would excel as an entrepreneur, but you may lack the discipline required at this point in your life. Address that and start planning. You’ll make it.

Understand too that crypto millionaires are few and far between. Most people lose everything and become bag holders.
