Then you threw one faint and BOOM...you're the greatest ever? Congrats,,but it was not an easy night for you.. Perfectly timed and perfectly executed head kick.. Congrats.. But again,,Usman was doing great until you caught him.. This was was your hail Mary..Because there was no other way you were winning that fight..

So much cope ITT. Snoozemans gameplan of wrestlefukin and faking groinshots/eyepokes (knuckle clearly grazed the temporal orbital bone) wasn't enough against Leon. His TDD and scrambles opened up the perfect opportunity to land that perfectly set up head kick. Stay mad Martycels.
Knew Costa would get the W too, but both gassed pretty hard at that altitude.

He was never the p4p best fighter itw.

Dana only says things to try and sell fights/build profiles so that they can sell more PPVs. He's not the WW GOAT. He was never the p4p king. He is nowhere near top 10 all time GOAT.

Volk, Izzy, and even Olives are better fighters

I think this is the end of Usman. He's putting on a brave face but that was brutal. He'll be pushing 36 by next fight, needs knee surgery, will be mentally rattled, next fight won't be high altitude so won't be able to EPOmaxx as effectively, Leon likely has his number now, Khamzat is lurking in the background, etc.

I didn't think a champion could be more annoying than Woodley but I was wrong.

How did Leon have his number? He was getting beat for most the fight..? That would be one heck of a game plan..no? Get your ass kicked then throw a head kick.? I know his win was not luck.. He executed that perfectly..but if not for that..It would have been unanimous..

Leon won the first round, and any time he had the upper hand Snoozeman faked a groin shot or eyepoke to regain position. Typical astronaut tbh.

Hugging = dominating. Cope. Edwards is a vastly superior kickboxer and his scrambles and clinches nullified Snoozeman in the end, despite fake eyepokes and groin shots. Sorry but hugging just doesn't cut it as soon as there's separation.

This. He mentioned in the post fight presser how his body wasn't reacting how he wanted. Usman is used to the altitude because he trains at high altitude all the time. Birmingham is literally sea level. Costa and Rockhold both struggled too, whereas Aldo's opponent didnt because he lives up in the mountains

Jose Aldo was the biggest letdown of the night. He was coming out of 3 straight wins and had a legit shot at the title, in his now fading career. He did absolutely nothing the entire fight, didn't even look like he was trying, like he showed up only for a paycheck unmotivated.

I wonder if it's his corner or wtf happened? He needs to borrow Leon's coach who can berate him for between rounds and set him straight.

Altitude. He gassed hard but he has been known to gas at sea level anyway. Most opponents would gas being hugged for 3 rounds tbf. His career isn't fading and he looked as sharp as ever, just a bad matchup for him. TDD gasses you out.
