How to deal with sleep issues?

How do you all deal with sleep issues? I go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every day. I also read an hour before sleeping. However, I still have anxiety when I sleep and sometimes struggle with finding a comfortable position to place my arms and hands. Any tips?

I've found a magnesium spray helpful for me to sleep. i spray the magnesium onto parts of my body and I'm typically asleep within the hour.

Feeling anxiety before you sleep isn't necessarily a sleep issue per se, sounds more like an anxiety issue. If you removed the anxiety entirely, would you still have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, etc?

What are you anxious about and how do you manage topics that cause you anxiety? Might want to look into a brief course of therapy to develop tools on how to better cope with things in life that cause you to feeL anxious. It's schitty that it manifests at night, isn't it? Lights are off, it's you and your thoughts. That's usually when it gets more intense.

Best of luck, OP.

I personally take melatonin (10mg but you may need less - see if you feel overtly groggy when you wake for the first hour and cut back by half until you find a good dose) and a cbd/cbg/cbn 2:2:1 oil sublingually for 1 minute (dose is 20:20:10mg). That combination helps tremendously and allows me to get to sleep quicker, sleep through the night with less interruptions, and wake up refreshed.

Hope the helps big dawg, pm if any other questions

I used to struggle with sleep for a long time.... I still do on some nights if my mind is occupied. I never found a good solution until I started training in the AM. I get up between 4:30-5AM and workout. Makes it so I'm whooped by 9pm and I don't have too much trouble falling sleep. ZMA seems to help me as well.

Same thing. I also take this with ZMA nightly and I am out within 15 minutes of putting my cpap on

I sleep great and I feel great all day, but around 10 if I am not in bed I get so tired, my gf and I joke about it that it is an emergency cause all the sudden my interest in anything is gone and I just need to get in bed as fast as possible
