Not dependent on imports
Resistant to invasion
Not at huge risk from climate change

Russia is a good shout

Natural resources
Manufacturing base (including military industrial)
Nuclear power

Problems are poor demographics and massive inequality that stifles innovation and wealth creation.

Russia, China, and the US have the most natural resources. US debt isn't sustainable. However, Russia and China have complete control over their populations, so that matters a lot too.

Western Europe is fcked. More scroungers, less tax payers = higher tax.

In Europe it’s probably most safe long term in Central Europe like Switzerland and Austria.

Eastern Europe is too poor and could get their 💩 pushed in by Russia.
