so you purchase something legally, some crims find a way to use it illegally and you must therefore surrender it

as far as i can tell, it's still legal to purchase

so they're triangulating people who have an AR and have purchased one legally on the presumption that they are using it as a silencer?

Yeah I believe that you can buy one legally just have to pay your $200 tax stamp.

I believe you can build your own, but need to notify the ATF and pay the $200 tax stamp.

sadly catbrah is in the ATF.

There is a reason he moved to Austin which is near Waco.

Early days of his time here he tried selling rifles with barrel lengths just barely under the legal limit to other miscers.

No, he lost them because he refused to go to court, he ended up there anyway & served time for the failing to show up charge. He basically got his family killed for no reason.
