Put my notice in at work today srs

Worked for the company 11 years.
Got passed up for promotion. I think im viewed too much of a workhourse, considering I have the best numbers.

Asked for a raise. It got denied. My boss had the audacity to say "aT lEaST yOu EnJoY YoUr JoB"

Could tell by the look on her face she was not expecting it today.

Scary, but excited

Respect. Wouldn’t be surprised if they reach out to you tomorrow and offer you the raise you asked for. Last I heard, it costs 30k to hire and train a new employee. Especially if you are as good as you say.

Edit: did you put in your notice the same day they denied the raise or has some time passed

I asked for the raise in the early part of July. But i specifically told my boss if it gets denied I was leaving.
I think 11 years in, they didn't think I'd leave.

I did the same thing three years ago it was one of the best things I’ve ever done, srs.

They tried for weeks to get me to come back but while I was there they benefited on my implementations and processes but I always got passed up. VP retired a year after I left because people under me were leaving and everything was going to chit.

I feel this so hard.
There have been things I do independently [not company policy] that whenever high level management comes in. They love it so much that have other locations attempt to implement something similar.

Sick of seeing my ideas, creativity,
and productivity benefit others.

But who was start up capital?

Sitting home claiming welfare isn't being your own boss as much as you look yourself in the mirror and try convince yourself otherwise.
