Got the boot from my employer because they put off their client lol

Just got the boot from an IT company on my 6 month trial.

Got back from vacation and noticed I can't login in my job account on my PC. Figured something might have bugged and when Monday came my Team Lead gave me the news that HR and management decided to let me go under the reason from them ''You are really smart but don't seem to be really interested in the job. Also you have an engineering degree which gives us low trust that you might leave the company soon'' and I lol'd

Real reason is that I was hired for handling a big corporation client with whom they signed a contract. Unfortunately the client put the project on standby because they were put-off by the automation system our company provided. So basically there was No work due to their ****ty system and they ended up hiring a guy (me) for no reason.

And these pheaggets from HR/ Management tell me this BS excuse rather admit they phucked up the project which led to no work which is the actual reason. The ''engineering degree'' excuse was epic lol, since they clearly knew what my degree was before they hired me. Also ''no interest'' lol - did every crappy side task they gave me and the team I was working closely with were really happy and gave 10/10 on the evaluation for me.

When will phaeggets from management/ HR start doing their job properly. Also not giving a slight notice about this. Pheaggets were in a hurry, because if the 6-month mark passes they should give a big compensation to the employee if they kick him. They waited till the end to see if the client will restart the contract with them lol

RIP. Time to go back to India.
For God so repped the world, that he negged his only begotten Son, that whosoever reppeth in him should not be negged, but have everlasting reps.

Have enough savings to keep it up for the next 4-6 months. Will look for a job starting next week, won't have a hard time finding something tbh. But I'm pissed that some on-desk retards threw me under the bus instead of admitting they phucked up. Couldn't even make a decent excuse

It was for 5 days lol, they actually forced me to do since the whole company was out of office except for HR and management.

Even if they weren't Teamlead said there won't be an issue with taking summer vacation during trial period as long as I'm performing well and as stated colleagues gave me 10/ 10 during evalution

They are forcing all the employees to take vacation during summer break since the company is out of office. Not taking vacation during out of office break would be a bigger reason since you wouldn't be doing anything while eating money.

damn, cold to get locked out without even knowing you're fired. it's like pro athletes finding out they have been traded from some random guy's social media post about it rather than through the team/agent. they should have called you at the very least and told you straight up.

If true, sucks azz man. HR and managers are usually incompetent, which is why they aren’t technical. Gl on finding something new.

What kind of work do you do in IT? Prime Minister me if you want any advice. I’m a DevOps engineer with 10 years experience in IT
