Kia and Hyundai are getting too competitive
These cars are getting too nice. They are beating out domesticels. Sometimes I think to myself, damn my next car just might be a Kia or Hyundai, but then I tell myself that I’m team Murica, but I don’t see that many good Americel cars I like. Personally I think GM cars are cool. But if they aren’t going to be as good as Korean cars, then they need to be cheaper. Otherwise ain’t no point in repping team MUrica. Y’all feel me?

those are literally the crappiest lowest quality cars on the market. they are the definition of a disposable car, nevermind the majority of new cars ARE, but THOSE...oh man
next time you see someone drive a kia, I want you to take notice of how fukd up the driver looks, what mental problems they have to possess themself to buy a pile of chit

Looked at the Hyundais recently too, they look nice but they have some pretty big recalls recently. From what I have heard, its the kinda car that you would try to get rid of before 100k miles. My brothers needed 2 engines within its warranty period. I ended up going with a Mazda instead which I am super happy with.

Nah, they offer long ass warranties because they have major issues. Look up how many Kia Souls have had full engine seizures.
The Asian market belongs to Honda, Toyota and Nissan. Not in that order either and this encompasses their luxury offerings of Acura, Infinity, and Lexus.
Kia and Hyundai did step their aesthetics and features up big time though, and that made the domestics stop producing econoboxes.

My wife's 2017 Elantra consistently gets 38-40mpg and has been trouble free so far in the 30k miles it has on it right now.
My mom owns a 2005 Sonata with over 200k miles and it's still going with basic maintenance, but did need some suspension work recently.
I have nothing bad to say about Kias or Hyundais. They have proven to be reliable in my experiences.

The new ones are incredible. They’re doing what Mazda did 5-10 years ago by perfecting their affordable luxury line. Meanwhile Mazda has fallen off and become a soccer mom brand. Sad!

I have a 2021 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige (Hyundai’s luxury offshoot) that gives a Bentley Bentayga a run for its money at 1/3rd the price
I don’t even know how they make money on them, the interior and features are insane
