Million dollar question: Does creatine accelerate hair loss?

Thinking about restarting creatine use, but everything I am reading is extremely 50/50.

What I am gathering is that creatine use increases DHT production which should accelerate the process if you have the balding gene, but the amount of studies done on it are minimal.

I've been a solid NW2 for about 5 years(33). Not trying to trying to take the fast track to NW3. My hair future based on genetics is about as 50/50 as it gets (Mom's side full head of hair which is supposedly where we get the gene from. Dad's side all males bald domes.

Your thoughts and experiences?

I'm really not sure. It seems to be an often discussed and searched topic though

Have used it for a few years in the past and my hairline deffo receded. Cant say for certain if it was creatine causing it but it has came to a halt ever since I went off it.

Don't recommend.

If you're still lucky enough to have your hair then NO supplement (legal or otherwise) is worth chancing it regardless of the difference it might make to your physique. Especially not something that will only add 3-5 lbs of mostly water weight That's my take anyway.
