It houses all my trapping stuff, my fishing equipment, portable ice shack, wood working tools, lathe, lure building stuff, and my gym. I can service all my power toys, and just put a fire on, get my airbrush or table saw out and create beautiful things.

You know, helps me do the stuff that gets mye up in the morning. Gives a sense of accomplishment and purpose.

Started with a condo, rented it out while renting a room from paRENTS. Condo doubled in value, and rolled on from there. Have fun, PermaTenants.

Owning a home is a bit more work, but thinking about your mortgage payments as rent-to-own makes a lot of sense. Eventually (mortgage) rent stops, and all you pay are bills and property tax. Rentcells are paying off a home for someone else to get rich.

That Million dollar equity sure makes it easy to sell and retire in a cheap area.

Not sure what benefits renters have, other than the ability to move quickly, and no worries about property tax or repair expenses. There are literally no other positives.
