🎦 What's your most favorite movie genre? 📺
Mine isLove Comedybecause it makes me smile.
As boring as the color of my underwear...
I know it's difficult to choose because for most of us it depends on the specific moods at the time.
Just share the first thing that comes to your mind.

Drama, and on the heavy side.
Something like Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac or Antichrist.

Mob movies, dramas in general. Historically accurate films are my kind of thing. Biopics are good too.

I'm not sure I'd be able to pick one definitive drama. I think it's like music and depends on how I feel in that moment. I do have a soft spot for old 80s/90s slapstick comedies. When I was a kid, dumb and dumber and tommy boy were 2 of my favorite movies. Those are good examples of movies you can put on when you need to mentally check out for a while. Having said that, I also gravitate towards the more serious dramas.
I remember clearing out the horror section in my local video store as a kid. Don't watch much horror anymore, maybe because not many good horror movies are coming out.

It doesn't fit into a specific genre, OP. I just love movies which screw your mind in all directions.
Oldboy, Coherence, Bottom of the World, any of David Lynch's movies.
Seen any of these, OP?

Probably martial arts B movies-JCVD especially. Total garbage, but fun/very easy to watch & they seem to go by really quick.

Cime/drama/mystery, examples include Prisoners, The Secret in Their Eyes, Zodiac, Gone Girl, Seven, The Silence, The Hunt. One key factor for me is that it has to be realistic or it's ruined. It can't have any supernatural aspect. For example, the movie It, how epic would it had been had the clown been an actual dude. Think about it. You go from some stupid alien sci fi bull**** nonsense that's a 5/10, to some John Wayne Gacy serial killer movie that has potential to be awesome.

I’m definitely in on Sci Fi being #1. I like a good comedy, but god it’s getting tough to find anything that’s actually funny nowadays .
I’m pretty diverse though . I don’t know what category the Matador would be, but I loved that movie and would recommend.
Don’t let the title fool you,and preferably don’t watch the trailer

Good evening misc! Thanks for sharing.
I picked Love/Family Comedy because I always want to end my day with a smile.
I used to love horror but I come to hate watching blood as I age.
