I mean it's possible. I just don't think it's likely for someone like McAfee. And to make it this obvious. He had been banging the same drum for god knows how long. If he was a genuine threat to someone or some group, enough for them to suicide him in a foreign country, they could have killed him any number of times over the years. Any other day would have looked far less suspicious.

Which is why I think it's more likely that he probably got hit with some hard reality and realised what he was up against. The ride was over. Once you hit the US, you're done. Probably realised that he was 75 years old and lived one helluva life. One final troll? Again, it's so fitting for his character.

Like I said, let's see if he releases any juicy info. If he had nothing, then nothing will come out, and he was never a real threat to "them".

The documentary was hilarious-dude had nobody chasing him, various law enforcement kept stopping his vessel because they thought him & the film crew & bodyguards were drug smugglers & just kept letting him go. The US authorities were never able to prove he killed the neighbour. Dude was 'putting wigs on to 'disguise himself' & then kept telling everybody who he was.
