everybody always talks about chads taking girls but I don't think that's the problem at all tbh

Yikes I decided to remake a tinder account to see what it's like and wow people wonder why women aren't taken seriously anymore. Atleast 60-70% have a main profile picture with them in a thong or very small bikini . I know the site is more for hookups but my God.

I personally think there is going to be a bigger sway back into men starting to realize their worth more and see that a woman's value is more than just how she looks. That could be wishful thinking though.

All facts. I would say however (this is coming from someone admittedly from a different generation so take it with a grain of salt) are there really top tier women on hinge? I ask genuinely. As I think about the younger top tier women I know, I just dont see them being on those apps. Maybe they are just really good at hiding it however.......

Agreed. I think that's one of the reasons women's standards and expectations have changed. Social media has made relationships and interactions a lot more shallow and built less on actual human connection. We don't look at the person or invest in people anymore, just invest in the image of them that we see.

As well, it's addictive, self-satisfying...so people may use matches for the purpose of validation than for actually finding a ltr.

It's such a different world out there with different values/morals that affect our behavior, choices, and actions. It's a lot more lonely and self-centered.

When I used to go to my mother's university reunion there was flocks of daughters there that were all either young professionals and/or heiresses to the family business. You wouldnt meet those girls at the strip club, dive bar, etc. You would run into them at a nice nightclub or lounge having drinks with friends and what not so is that like the analogy between tinder and hinge?

Always blows my mind reading these threads and seeing all of the stats surrounding this. I'm pretty average looking and barely over 6' but have never really struggled with women. Not sure what I'm doing that's so special compared to anybody else who's struggling.

I think there's truth to not relying on the apps, because that's statistically a losing game. If you're really in a dry spell, and everything else in your life is lined up, you probably just need to increase your social activity. I have a decent looking friend who never leaves the house and subsequently barely ever gets laid.

What happens is that most typical females have unlimited options and can drop a guy or be picky about a guy over something ridiculous. A lot men just don't want to deal with it.

When I downloaded hinge the other month I eventually got a lot of matches. But talking to them was like talking to a wall. Short basic texts with zero substance. I just removed them. A waste of time. How many do you think these chicks are talking to?

There are a plethora of reasons, but that is a major one I see.
