lmao u guys who are saying it is woke are overreacting...there is literally 1 black dude

and the clip everyone shows is taken out of context

I watched both episodes and it is rly nowhere near as bad as u retards made it out to be

my only gripe is they called it "middle earth" in the show and not Arda

The original LOTR trilogy had that with the “I am no man” scene in Return Of The King. But yes clearly this show is woke and untrue to the lore. A black elf with a fade haircut, black female dwarf Queen, black hobbits, etc. It’s not one just one black guy.

It's not autism. It shows a complete lack of care or interest in Tolkien. It shows that the complaints about this show are not just skin deep, but a complete contempt and disregard for the books and setting.

The original movies production team created custom suits of armor by hand ring by ring. There are videos of them arguing over which buttons on a costume for a background extra would be most appropriate. That's dedication to the craft and the material. That attention to detail carries over into the quality rest of the production. Meanwhile these mooks don't even care enough to comb someones hair.

Hair products could be created with stuff in nature like beeswax, lanolin, coconut milk, olive oil, etc. They don’t all have straight teeth and I didn’t notice implants or at least not any that are without a doubt. Yeah I guess one of the few wizards are casting the crispy fade spells.

In the first 2 episodes, there is literally only 1 black character.

I legit don't see how everyone is calling it woke after 2 episodes. I watched them, and ppl took the black elf in the tavern scene completely out of context. And Tolkien also said Galadriel was basically an amazon type figure.

You're right, but it is not remotely noticeable. People are so sensitive about race. It's actually deranged. The only main char that is black is the elf guy.
