JFL if you own a Kia or Hyundai (rip)

car thefts up 800% for Kia's and Hyundai's in Chicago lmao

defect in kia and hyundai cars allows people to break in and hotwire the car with a USB! Teenagers are going around and stealing these cars and nobody can do anything about it

Chicago is a crime ridden **** hole. If you don't live in poverty areas you won't have any issues.

The majority of Kia/hyundai since 2019 have push button start and smartkey immune to this.

While I sort of agree, no one is buying those cars because they're nice. Also, I will make an exception for the G70/80/90's even though they are technically Hyundias.

I mean, not bad brad and you can get it with good options in the 50's

There are still cars with mechanical keys?

Hyundai/Kia/Genesis make insanely good vehicles these days but can't say theft is something I worry much about. My 2021 Genesis doesn't lock the doors when I walk away, which my 2014 Cadillac does, and I often forget to lock them when out and about lol
