Question about losing weight

Could you maintain all your muscle and lose fat during a cut if you maintained all your lifts or even say got stronger over a month or so ?

Answer is entirely context-dependent but...

How much weight are you losing in a month that you're worried about muscle loss? If you finish your cut within a month while gaining/maintaining strength, I wouldn't be worried about anything. I probably wouldn't be worried in general if you're gaining/maintaining strength. Seems unlikely to have a situation where you gain/maintain strength and lose significant muscle mass.

I got into long distance running at one point and I was suprised how hard it was for me to lose muscle. I was actively trying to shed some weight and it was pretty difficult. I ended up having to eat hardly any protein and quit lifting.

As long as you're lifiting and eating high protein you'll be fine.

Of course this all goes out the window if you have dogchit genetics, then its gonna be a struggle to do anything.

Around 2kg a week, i dont have a problem running large calorie deficits (i do alot of cardio) but pretty much dont want to lose muscle or strength for obvious reasons. So if i was to keep weights and sets the same i should keep all my current mass right ?

I always get about 10-20% weaker on a hard cut, but the strength comes back real quick after the cut is complete. Don't sweat it broseph

It's hard af to lose muscle. I have gigantic legs from years of oly weightlifting, and I've pretty much accepted the fact I'm stuck with huge legs for the rest of my life.

100% wont get stronger, can't grow muscle in deficit

In to hear what better lifters than me think though.
I do alot of cycling (2h a day) and run around 25 miles a week so i do eat alot. Id plan on eating majority of my carbs few hours before working out and i usually train fasted. With all that i usually maintain on around 4.5/5k. Just curious really dont want to lose any strenght or muscles.

Edit day job a waiter 30 plus hours week around 15k steps a day minium not including my runs.

High protein, moderate fat, well timed low carb, lift heavy, decrease volume, increase frequency, do LISS cardio.

You'll lose fat and gain/maintain muscle.
