How do you set up FOR A SET OF HEAVY DUMBELL bench PRESS???!??!?!?!?!?!
Do you kick the dumbells up 1 leg at a time or both together?
I've always kicked up 1 leg at a time, both doesn't feel comfortable but seems like it would be better for really heavy set???

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Rest on knees, eyes closed, wait until audio peaks (for me it's a motivational video), kick both back at once very slowly as I lean back, arch back, pinch shoulder blades together and let's fuking go.

Bench I don't sweat much over, idk just fall back with em
But setting up for OHP I use a homemade 2x10 that sits across the safety bars in a squat rack to position em first

I set them on the bench, grab them while in a standing position, then lie on the bench and press

Set them on my knees and fall back with my arms straight so I start with the DBs at the top position. Kind of settle in and good to go.
If you decide to do this way, practice with warm up weight only and learn how to do it before moving on to your working weight

Tucked in position as I fall back into the bench. Start the lift from the bottom position. If you can't get the DBs to the top position, your ROM sucks or it's too heavy for you.

If going very heavy I'll ask someone to set each one onto my thigh as I'm sitting on the bench.
Then knee them up one at a time and lay back on the bench.
When finished, make loud grunting sound and then drop them on the mat.

That has to involve either oddly heavy flyes or oddly light bench presses
