I think Russians need to stop bull****ting themselves and admit that the Ukrainians have turned the entire tide in Kharkiv. I’ve been preaching truthful reporting from both sides since the start, and will do so now.

Claiming propaganda is one thing, but seeing Ukrainian troops in captured territory is another.

This war is embarrassing Russia big time.

I wouldnt say it embarrassing. The first “phase” was embarrassing though.

Compared to the US ya the progress has been shiet, but i dont think anyone sane was under the illusion that russia had the military expertise and capabilities that the US has.

Ukraine is also putting up a better fight than most military analysts and intel thought it would, combined with the fact that the western weapons being sent in are far superior to their russian made counterparts.

Lets also not forget that russia has not technically declared war on ukraine. Although i dont know how much that would help out the effort and how much it would be politically disastrous within russia.

russia has some very good military tech, they just dont have enough of it produced and ready to deploy. what good is the s500 system when the entire country only has 30 of them? what good are their 5th gen fighters which are on par or even edge NATO when you have 10 of them?

Look at the engine nozzles of su57. It isn't 5th gen. 4.5ish tops. Thing has a massive RCS.

Hell, Russia has proven they don't understand combined arms. The US has been efficient in combined arms for FORTY ****in years.

Russia has no battlefield management, networked systems....NOTHING. Why? The Oligarch system is even more corrupt than our MIC.

My biggest fear is that overconfidence from success in conventional means will lead people to the erroneous conclusion that Russia does not possess advanced nuclear weaponry. We could talk ourselves into doing something very stupid.

You guys need to understand Russia has cutting edge missile tech that honestly outpaces our own or at least did as of 2 years ago.

They don't possess advanced anything. Even n00ks. That said....any nuke is awful. Their 2nd strike capability.....subs....is trash....totally fukked. Their bombers? Trash. F22s would destroy them before they got on target. They don't have a triad....just 1 arm....their land based systems both silo and mobile. Those would hit us. Always a lose lose....but the US has a nuclear triad that is advanced and READY, and that is why Russia will not launch at us.

ya maybe true. idk enough to say either way. im only going off of what ive read on the russian tech.

if i had to bet, id say what youre saying is more plausible in chinas case considering most of their **** they just steal US designs and try to make a ****ty chinese copy of it. russia has been historically pretty good at developing weaponry though.


all in all, i dont think any current superpower can stand up to the US militarily. i think china and russia both know this very well (thank god).

It is, which is why you see so many trying to "save face", where there is no face to save. Ukraine won't join NATO? Big whoop. Russia has taken non-trivial losses in Ukraine alone. As the EU and its partners increase their energy independence, and the energy security of the Union overall, so too does dependance on Russian gas. Dude we aren't sending them our best chit. Javelin? 80s design. Stingers? Lol. The US doesn't even give our allies our best chit ( F22, subs, ) and our export stuff ( F35 ) is stripped down. We sent the Ukies some anti tank and anti air chit for infantry to use. Nothing more. It's hilarious how 35 year old chit is raping the Russians.

Our EIGHTIES weaponry is defeating the Red Army. Imagine a heads up conventional battle between the US and Russia. Would last 3 days tops.

Russia has no cutting edge missile tech. Our MIC hyping it means nothing. They want money. There are precisely 0 real world examples of the Russians possessing anything of note. There are countless examples of American weapons in service performing.

A Russian 'test launch video' of s00per Sarm00t shows a rocket leave a silo and fly for 3 seconds to 100m altitude. No one saw a damn thing.

When ICBMs launch they're visible for 100s of miles...sometimes over a thousand. People in New Mexico have seen what we test on the coast of California when the missile gets up there.
