does beermaxxing only accumulate fat in abdominal region?

I've noticed most people who drink beer often have normal bodies (unless they arent eating like a degen) but a fatty stomach

Been drinking bit heavily since august have developed the same

Real answer is you’re fuking your liver up. The blood vessels around it leak and forces fluid to build up in the stomach instead

Actually, testosterone causes the abdominal fat storage pattern. Estrogen puts fat in the legs, tits, hips and ass. Compare fat men to fat women.

Regardless, since extremely excessive alcohol might impact your training/muscle gains and put you in a surplus, it will put it mostly in your gut if you're a dude.

yeah from what ive researched is that eventually your liver can't handle all the alcohol and it drains it into your gut more or less. but if you fast for a while it'll go away. but alcohol itself doesn't make you fat, it just prevents the body from processing other chit, like carbs/fats, so that why people get fat.

Most other alcoholic drinks dont have this effect. Have only experienced the 'beer belly' with beer.

beer taste bad. some beers have higher calories. i drink what tastes good, aka vodka mixed with fruit juice or even club soda with a piece of fruit in it

Taste doesnt matter when In drinking to get drunk but when I actually drink to enjoy a beer I mix it with Tequila.

This^ There's been a strong correlation between beer belly and a bad hormone balance. I've known a lot of men who don't drink much alcohol at all, not even beer, and they still get that horrendous gut.

Plenty of women who drink a fukton get fat all over, they don't get the beer belly.

I stopped drinking in 2019 because I think it's profoundly unhealthy, but in the past I would have a couple of beers after work at time or on the weekend.

I am like a two or three beer person and then I quit.

However, I noticed it will make me fat VERY quickly. Then, it cuts fat in the stomach and so alcohol makes people very hungry. So, if drink a couple of drinks I get super hungry, so it's the gateway to fatness.

I had a couple drinks lately just to try some alcohol I learned about and it made me super hungry and I didn't care for it.

we used to call it liquid bread:

Had a skinny 5ft 11 uncle with the huge belly who barely ate, so yeah it is the carbs.
