Has anyone here tried strong psychedelics under the care of a professional ?
One of the only ways I've been able to snap out of my "funks" is after a good mushroom, mescaline or LSD trip.
There's doctors all around my area who will "guide" you through your trip at their office. They have a comfy bed set up for you to lay down on the whole time, dim lighting, calm music etc...You get there and they give you the mushrooms or whatever has been decided to take. Two doctors are there helping you get through the trip and figure yourself the fuk out.
I know you don't wanna hear about Netflix EOD LOL....But there's a series on there called "How to change your mind"
Essentially its about people who have struggled with acute depression/anxiety for years and tried everything in the book including meds (poison) to fix themselves but nothing works.
Then they go to a doctor ONE TIME and they're fixed for years or indefinitely. Pretty eye opening, and I do remember any time I took only that stuff and nothing else it was very intense / introspective / overwhelming / almost scary etc....But it allows you to think differently which is a huge factor for getting yourself better.
I see allot of people's posts are very similar. Time to expand the mind.
Notes:
- Under the care of a professional
- Only take the substances they give you, don't take anything else or it can negatively impact the experience
- I don't like MDMA and I'm on the fence about putting that in the show because it can down-regulate serotonin, especially with me and the next day I feel "depleted" / depressed / anxious....But naturally occurring substances seem to be okay for me and I get a massive "anti-depression" effect from them, days after its all over too, the best way I can explain it is like you're a kid again learning about life again in a whole new way so you have all these new ideas and experiences to help you feel better.

You mean. eod, that you wouldn't even go to any kind of small Meetup group when they're meeting in an entirely neutral location, such as a game store or a trailhead?

I’m leaving from a beach vacation today and I had no anxiety or depression during the vacation. Obviously home and work contribute, not to mention caring for my family.

i bought a gameshark and made all my pokemon level 100. It was fun for for 30 minutes and then I got depressed and bored. I feel that way about life now even though I didn't get all level 100s. Everything just became pointless prematurely. Wut the heck. I am nothing. I'm not even real

It just sucks seeing everyone doing better than me. My one friend just got married who I only talk through text nowadays told me how much him & his wife make combined & it just blew my mind. Life just sucks. It's depressing knowing my life is just going to be mediocre or terrible. It makes me wonder wtf is the point of anything.

And I guarantee there's people in this thread who can easily afford it.
I also wouldn't recommend someone withrealdepression/anxiety issues to take anything like that without being under the supervision of a professional.

I find my depression is improving now that I'm going to concerts and sporting events.
They're just expensive and I'm tired from the lack of sleep, but with depression I was sleeping 10-12 hours a day.

Idk what i did but nobody likes me anymore. I'm a nice guy but people just use me. I try to stand up for myself finally after like 6 years and nobody believes what i say. If someone does something wrong then the blame is never on them they just gaslight me and say i'm the problem. I don't fit in anywhere anymore and this wasn't the case before. I always had a community at work, the gym or in sports or something but nobody likes me anymore.

Slept for phuking 14 hours today. I swear dude Toronto is just the worst phuking city ever. You work hard and tell the truth and you will get taken advantage of and abused/treated like sht. While the phuking sloots and ****g0ts kiss ass and lie through their teeth and they all get rewarded. If you're a scamming piece of sht then come to Toronto srs, you will have great success. I can't take this sht anymore man.
