Russians realizing they're the Nazis. Lol

https://news.yahoo.com/kremlin-tv-ai...164208089.html

The filmmaker urged for clarity in the “political solution of the Ukrainian question.” While no one argued with Shakhnazarov about Russia’s defeat, the existence of the Ukrainian ethnicity was too much to bear for some of the Kremlin’s mouthpieces. Political analyst Dmitry Drobnitsky asserted: “The recognition of the existence of the Ukrainian people is the biggest mistake in our Soviet history.” Shakhnazarov followed up: “So there are no Ukrainian people?” Drobnitsky replied: “The Ukrainian people do not exist. Any historian will tell you that they don’t exist... You’re offering me to recognize their existence. Thanks, but no thanks.”

After objecting to arguments about the supposed non-existence of the Ukrainian ethnicity and the Ukrainian language, the Germany-based pundit Alexander Sosnovsky became visibly unsettled by what he was hearing. In a scene that resembled a Mitchell and Webb sketch, in which two Nazi officers come to the realization that they are the ‘baddies’ in WWII, he bitterly concluded: “I don’t want to go any further, because this smells of nationalism.”

Listening to the dude talk was pretty much like listening to your tactical posts. I think he was in southern Ukraine around kherson. The interviewer has recent videos from that area. So his perspective wasn't what happened up in the north east.

You don't hold a phone when the US, China, or Russia is on the battlefield. Plus I've done my time and the last and those here out will be to check on troops at the front and back to HQ I go.

I just want this to end before it gets out of control. It's a game of chicken. If we provided enough to interrupt, Russia escalates. If we provide enough to impede, we go to war and we will lose American men and women I've trained, mentored, and made into leaders for decades in great numbers though we'd persevere.

We don't have to prove it. In no way does this end well. Choosing the least worst choice is best for everyone. Ukraine cannot win and we can only be dragged down with them. The entire thing is dangerously foolish.

Taiwan is a different story and another conversation. Feelings are generally the same however crippling to our nation and strategically feasible until belt & road complete, even then we have tactical leverage to apply.

the US has already provided enough to impede their efforts. if it was not for NATO supplies in no way do i believe that ukraine would be able to A) last this long and B) mount these kinds of counter offensives. what has russia done to retaliate? putin isnt stalin, imo if he chooses to declare war on nato, or something even more stupid like use a nuke in ukraine, it would it completely disastrous politically for him in russia.

honestly, ill say again, this war has only benefitted the US. the US has lost absolutely nothing from this and gained so much. bigly gains in exports, bigly gains in geopolitical influence, bigly gains in making the rest of nato band together again against russia. US went from its european allies cozying up to russia and being dependent on their energy to europe buying 12 billion cubic feet of US gas a day.

as far as taiwan goes, id imagine US has more reasons to defend them than they do ukraine and china knows that. taiwan produces how much of the worlds computer chips? if china is allowed to absorb that market it would be terrible for the US.

The jaded vibe you're kinda giving of is mentioning the casualties and brutalities of war so much that makes me feel like you've been through quite a bit yourself. Just makes me wonder what kinda chit you have personally seen. You don't have to change your vibe or viewpoints at all, it was just a question.

Potentially. I'm not one for "3d chess" but am one for taking people making threats at their word.

Chief Threat - "Demilitarization"
Would there be more troops killed in Ukraine or less troops killed in Ukraine with or without US contribution?

I'll further that statement even deeper with the point that, if I'm right and in my heart I know I am, Ukraine is taking massive casualties of; first their military, then their patriotic volunteers, and now working and society contributing draftees.

Ukraine by our own ignorance is losing current and future generations of military men, patriots, and the backbone of their society.

Less without the US doing their usual shady chit, of course. But can you blame the Ukrainian men fighting for their country. Imagine if you weren't being sent off to Iraq or Afghanistan to bomb a bunch of helpless goat fukkers who are unable to put up a fight, instead Russia has millions of men and artillery and military equipment lined up at the border with Mexico ready to invade? You might be lot more inclined to fight defending your own territory instead of in some overseas war for oil and power.

You could criticize Ukraine leadership, corruption and decision making. But can you really criticize the men fighting for their own country, territory and honour?

Every idiot in here shaking their fist in either direction is doing so at the expense of a real human soul. Without thought or conscious they don't care to even learn what is happening on the ground.

Russian units are fuking broadcasting it play by play on each front. Russians aren't even happy with the pace and performance of the units. It all goes back to the aforementioned. Prolonging the intentional death of military aged men who never stood a chance.

This is some seriously sadistic **** meant for payback.

People who study war understand how terrible this can get. Millions could die. This is not a joke. Minsk 2 was a good agreement. There could have been stability in the region. Expanding NATO to Ukraine and getting involved there destroys security. Ukraine could have still made democratic reforms without us being involved there. And EU membership could have still been on the table with the caveat that Ukraine should have been allowed to also participate in the Eurasian Economic Union. We should never have emboldened or supported Ukrainian nationalists, many of whom are literal nazis. We should have fairly condemned prejudice. They have done nothing to promote democracy in Ukraine.

Like I said, the priority here for the US seems to be to cripple and destroy Russia rather than prevent or end conflict. Many of you deem it worth deposing Putin. But you have no foresight to see what this could do to Russia. And you also don't realize the next Hitler could come from that kind of collapse.

Many of you have no understanding of why people do what they do. You attach labels like "evil" blindly without understanding motivations. Putin is not a sadist. He is a rational actor seeking to maximize Russia's security. We could have created the conditions to avoid war here. We didn't. And we continue to create conditions that escalate the war.

If you'd set your emotions aside and think about outcomes, you'd understand. Peace is not easy. Frankly, it's no coincidence that we have a bunch of females in foreign policy and now everything is falling apart. Women are less violent as individuals, sure. But they are far more judgmental, less patient, less intelligent, and their empathy drives them to be easily duped into taking up someone's cause without understanding context. They also have to overcompensate for their lack of dick. The Madeleine Albrights, Victoria Nulands, and Hillary Clintons of the world have done more to create war than to prevent it.

You're all acting like a bunch of bloody vaginas and jeopardizing American security because Mr. Putin is a big bad scary mean guy who does mean things. That's the world. Get over it or we will all be sucked into the vortex of war. What the vaginas fail to understand is Putin is not even close to the worst it can get. He rules with an iron fist to keep even worse forces at bay. This is a fact lost on Americans. Have you people learned nothing from the middle east?
