Sounds like some weak, spineless cuck behavior to me.

I'm going to go out, arm myself and find someone who can help me take my house back by force.

I'm not saying it was a good thing memcop. I am saying this is what the ruthless people who take charge do. Most world leaders make these horrible decisions because they are obsessed with achieving certain ends. FDR wanted us in WW2. He thought it was for the greater good. And ofc the people under his command died as a result.

That's exactly what he's saying. And he's right.

This is the equivalent of handing you and your family a bunch of sticks a day and you're getting mowed down at the sidewalk. Plenty of bigger guns in the back if you get more than a stick.

You could've gone to war in any situation, but would the public support have been even remotely similar? The idea about false flag attacks or allowing attacks to happen when you have the prior knowledge isn't just about thinking up a legit reason. It's about getting public support. Without getting into 9/11 conspiracies do you think the public support in the USA wouldn't even been remotely close for the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions without 9/11 hapening? Obviously not.

The USA could lay it's big balls on the table and have the military industrial complex take on any country in the world and win. I also don't think it's disrespectful to think some people in power are very willing to give up the lives of a few (hundred/thousand) regular soldiers or citizeens for their own benefit in the big picture. That's pretty much basic war games.

What would you have done if you were in charge of the UK and Hitler had nuclear weapons? It's a whole different situation to navigate. Thankfully, Putin is not Hitler.

and its not right or wrong, it wrong. there is no justification for this invasion, they were not under attack, there was zero threat of attack, their "perspective" is irrelevant.

if youre referring to nukes, we can speculate on that but i personally highly doubt any nuclear weapons will be used.

There is evidence FDR knew. It isn't ironclad though. But I do know he wanted us in WW2. At the very least, he took some steps to provoke Japan.

Nuclear use is unlikely but very possible, especially if Russia starts losing severely.

No nuke even referenced.

You guys keep going back to this whole thing about fairness. These dudes are out here getting smoked without an end in sight while gambling the safety of even where you're at now, nuclear, economic, etc. For what? The same poverty dots on the map that can be negotiated?

There is no winning. There is no justice.

history would disagree with you. any time since the inception of nuclear weapons that a smaller non-nuke country has been at war with a larger nuke country, no nukes have been used despite the larger country losing.

the US could have turned all of south east asia into a parking lot with ease, it didnt. russia could have leveled afghanistan and chechnya, it didnt.

Uhhh what?? It is not accepted knowledge in the slightest. I've watched a lot of WW2 documentaries and read many articles about it, not one mentioned Pearl Harbor false flag. What was known was that tensions were rising between US and Japan and that there was increasing Japanese activity and military movement in the Pacific and with specific intel and decoding gathered that they suspected an attack could be imminent. I haven't seen anything before that proves the US actually knew when and where it would occur.

Also just logically it would make no sense to allow the majority of your fleet to be attacked and destroyed before entering a war against an enemy. That just makes zero sense tactically. I could understand MAYBE believing a false flag at the cost of one ship, but letting the enemy have the opportunity to destroy the majority of your fleet? That would be stupid and makes zero sense.

Honestly thought the whole Pearl Harbour thing was pretty much established knowledge and that it was widely accepted to be true. Kinda surprised I'm getting chit for mentioning it here.

I've seen things about US military officers mentioning it to their superiors and being ignored. Also foreign intelligence tipping off the US that an aircraft carrier from Japan was being sent their way and them ignoring it. Congressional hearings and many more things. I'd never say these things either after just watching one random conspiracy video, only after absorbing knowledge from many sources over a large span of time.

There's many conspiracies I'm interested in but there's very few I'd make such a firm and convinced statement about.

We have already seen one country calculate that it could use nuclear weapons to shutdown an otherwise brutal and prolonged war. The precedent is there. Ukraine is existential to Russia.

Absolutely true.

Now, cover the one where NATO gave 100bn in materiel support. It's literally the absolute next step in Russian doctrine if they begin to loose to fire a low yield weapon, a non treaty violation.

how much soviet weaponry was provided to the north vietnamese and vietcong? why didnt the US declare war on the USSR? why didnt the US use low yield nukes in vietnam?

to be fair, the soviets were a bit more private about it than the US has been with ukraine but its the same situation.

Sure and we've done the same with blacked out budgets driven by the cia/spy services since our foundation. Same for Russia.

This is not comparable. This is new and stupidly consequential. Himars and publicly admitting real time intel will have some blow back. It's damaged them.

It definitely is comparable. If you dont think so check again how many aircraft the US lost to soviet weapons being used by the north vietnamese.

And also keep in mind that was at the height of the cold war….

I said very specifically two items of consequence that you quoted without acknowledging. We can debate money because that's what your stinger comment is regarding defensive arms. You could have even defended the himarsish

Here is an article about FDR's war ambitions and how he may have set the events in motion to bring us into the war.

Okay, so they knew an Aircraft carrier was heading their direction, that doesn't mean they know it's arrival time or where it's going to specifically attack or if it was even going to attack for certain, the Pacific ocean is rather large area to have to search for a few ships.

Again, Generals ignoring intel from subordinates does not prove the US intentionally let it happen. The Superior ranking officers may have not believed the intel was accurate or verified? Or maybe just poor leadership in general. Mistakes are made all the time in war even when accurate intel was available because mistakes are still made. None of what you stated would prove intentionally allowing the pacific fleet getting bombed.

There is no winning. There is no justice.
Gambling the safety? We all gamble our safety every day we wake up. The fact you are mad that we have supported Ukraine, and they are now winning, speaks volumes about what we as Americans can do. Just a month ago you were talking about how Russia was walking unmolested in Ukraine and now here we are on the brink of Russia literally losing the war and you make idiotic post like this?

You were in the military/LE and you saythere is no winning. There is no justiceHow pathetic and skewed life you must live.
