half of my uncles are like this. non lifter, never had a gf (so basically my uncles are miscers). I think it's cringe and sad. It would be one thing if they were chads/rich and still banging 20-something year olds, but they're not. quite the opposite actually.

I'm 50 and never married. It's like a handicap that you know is abnormal, but you learn to live with it.

I have Tourette Syndrome anyway, so I was kind of hosed from the beginning. The only girls who werent wierded out by it were trash girls that even I wouldnt settle for. Then my hair fell out and I have an eating disorder that made me really fat for a while.

im in my 30s so long time until 45, but never married. engaged once though.

havent found any worthwhile woman that i wanted. ive turned down many women through the years that wanted me, but ive been holding out for a girl that i want.

unfortunately the pickings are slim. liberal sloots tatted up smoking weed or vaping, etc. they dont want kids, mind polluted, etc.

sure i can pick a hot one and try to deprogram her, but why risk that? its not in her nature to be based.

I got married at 44, but had been with my wife continuously since I was 31 and on and off since I was 18.

There are a lot of people out there in their 40s and 50s who aren't married, but have been with somebody for 10-20 years.

high school sweethearts, met as teens, spent every day together, etc... then she got sick and then eventually pushed me away 1 week before the wedding, more complicated than that obv. took me a while to recover from that one, especially after all the crap i had already survived up to that point in my life, my hope for a family and a future was torn apart. but i survived and made myself ready to love again. its just been hard to find a girl i want. i was close once a few yrs ago, dated a beautiful preachers daughter, compatible, loved me, she volunteered to teach little children at sunday school, etc... she woulda married me, but i found out she was manipulating me by talking to other guys as well. lots of lying. 1 strike policy, i didnt bitch or complain, or anything, i simply dumped her. she tried the crying thing but ive already seen that game before. it was confirmed eventually when she got a new bf and kept trying to be my girl behind the new ones back, which confirmed my dumping of her, then i went nc, even though she was interested in giving herself to me completely behind the new ones back whenever i wanted, i still went nc because its wrong, instead of keeping her around which is what most guys would do. i actually have morals and i do love God, because of everything i have survived, i have a lot internal strength to do the right thing.

its been a **** show of disappointments since. but im being picky and i will get what i want, i just need to finish a bit more goals to become truly awesome, i think. there are still important things in my life i am working on and i have to complete them, plus I know God is protecting me from picking the wrong one. i ignore random girls who flirt with me (like today) because im waiting for the one that -I- want

i also think america is a failed society so maybe the few good ones are already taken early and so ill need to travel to eastern europe or something where the mind pollution isnt as bad yet.

yeah dear diary, cool story bro, but its online so who cares. i dont have siblings and mostly do my own thing alone irl, ill dear diary here but id never share my life IRL.

Yes. Lived with girlfriends a few times but didn't like it. I prefer to live by myself and not have a woman nagging and yapping at me all day.

People don't even have the ability to front like you'll be happier, since most married couples despise eachother and it is known. They just think it's worthwhile to be seen as normative and not the horrific dreaded single. I feed off being antisocial though so the more society views me as odd, the better

i work with a guy whos been married twice, now divorced and recently got out of a 5 year relationship. The break up fkd with him a bit but he has been going out by himself to bars doing his own thing and single middle aged woman have been coming up to him without him even trying. He is 60 and still works out (doesn't even look 60)

He seems pretty content with life already has 3 kids.

Makes me pretty optimistic about getting old, you can still slay no matter what

Once you're in a marriage, there are a host of tangible and intangible benefits that give you a health advantage, experts said.

Married people are more likely to have health insurance, Ornstein said, and therefore, have better access to health care.

Being married also means you have someone looking out for you and reinforcing healthy behaviors, said Michael Rendall, director of the Maryland Population Research Center at the University of Maryland."

I agree. I'd rather be alone than with an annoying person. I'm just answering Ratfish's question. I sure hope I have good healthcare when I get divorced as that's one of the main reasons why I'm still married.
