Just wait for the premier club membership in November or whenever it comes out. Like $80 for the year or something.

RunEscape was GOAT back in the day. Seriously felt like I learned a lot of valuable life skills as a middle-schooler playing RunEscape (srs)

brb learning how markets and investing work because flippers make the most money
brb learning about quantitative analysis/strategy/optimization by doing the math to see what activities will earn me the most XP/GP
brb learning how to climb to the top of the world in some random sandbox with seemingly unlimited activities

Nice indeed.

Not worth it anymore OP. It's a total chitchow and nothings the same.

It's like going back to college. Getting drunk with friends was fun but to go back now? I did try that and it was super lame. Left the town after 3 months.

All my friends were gone and only sketchy people remained.

Ironman = no trading with other players/using the ge/etc. You do everything by yourself.

It's fun but the grind can get ridiculous with ironman mode. I have a lvl 121 ironman that's 2000 something total. The only content left is endgame and the grinds are 100's of hours each. Makes it difficult to play casually.

Also like 65M in the bank, but can't just go and buy the gear I need, feels bad.

OSRS is legit though the updates they've put out over the last few years have been mostly awesome. Just put out a new raid that is tits.

The higher level grinds are indeed definitely scary though. I have a ~1400 total Ironman, and I'm currently working on the fury grind. Did it over a few weeks just doing seaweed runs and mining sand while eating lunch or whatever, but now that I have pretty much everything, I think I need to still blow glass for 30-40 hours...

This does more or less max out a skill for me (and all my intents) though.

See idk if that's worth a grind for me. Maybe I'll get passively over time, but +7 atk and +2str (with less def) has always seemed pretty meh to me.

IMO it's only worth it if you have a lot of slayer left to do, or still have a lot of drops to get from melee bosses like cerb or sire.

Otherwise it's a pain to bring an additional switch to raids for that bonus.

Any other fun online games similar to osrs? I started playing RS in 2004 lol. Done a little bit of osrs too but chit gets boring doing the same quests/skills that I've done on many different accounts.

gonna kill myself if i have to ever do DT or MM on a pure account again.

Would love to find something else to play besides apex.

I'll probably just get it really slowly. Crafting cape would certainly be nice eventually. I'm still not even 45 slayer I think, so I've got time to chip away at it before I get to content where it might more significantly impact trip length/completion rate.
