From the Czech Republic, Little Otik (2000). A woman unable to have children, pretends a tree stump is her son. First 2/3s pretty amazing, falls apart in the 3rd act. Still worth it to check it out.

Samaritan with Stallone had a little twist to it.
but wouldn't be surprising if you weren't 4 beers in when you said "WTF let's watch this".

Identity comes to mind. The movie got way better after the end twist.
"Whores don't get a second chance"
Well fuk.
Also, Now you See me I recall had a good end twist
I enjoyed that movie.

If I told you, you'd know the movie had a twist and it'd ruin it.
One I hated, though...
Spoiler!

Usual Suspects had the lamest twist I've ever seen in a movie. It's supposed to be some big reveal. In reality Spacey's character just made an undetermined amount of the plot up. "Unreliable narrator" isn't a good end-of-movie twist, it just renders the entire thing pointless. I laughed so hard at the reveal, what a crock of sh!t.

Bad Samaritan(2018) Such a good Mystery Thriller, starring David Tennant and Ed Sheehan. Do not read up too much on it. I swear any slight promo, trailer, or synopsis is designed to ruin the movie watching experience. I want to be surprised, not have major plot points spoiled.
Keeping my eye on this bloke, Carlito Oliverio because he's got some talent for sure. I wish him ongoing success.

Tell No One was really good. It’s in French though (subtitles)
Gone Girl too. I was late on that movie. Amazing though!

Circle (2015) Nice little low budget Sci Fi Thriller, where people of all walks of life randomly wake up in a dark room in a circle. I feel like you are a damn talented filmmaker if you can have such a simple concept, where the set takes place in one room, and still make it captivating, enthralling, and interesting.

In the Spirit of Halloween Month, let me suggest some Horror Films...
Zombie films are a bit played, but this is really good and a little sad zombie flick from France. The protagonist is a Doctor irl.

Campy fun Comedy Horror, The Night Watchmen (2017). It had kind of an old school vibe.

Demonic Horror, The Cleansing Hour (2019) A frauding priest who stages exorcisms for TV gets a bit more than he bargained for.
Aterrados (2017) or Terrified. Argentinian supernatural horror film.

Trick r Treat (2007) Anthology Horror taken on Halloween Night. I love the character Sam, the pumpkin headed QT 3.14. I feel like he can get his own spin off tv series or movie. Anyway, this movie is good and entertaining, but that werewolf transformation scene is too long. Yeah, we get it Werewolves can be sexy. They could have introduced another story, rather than drag that damn scene on. Also, that "showdown" scene was a bit corny and campy.

Being a wage slave is hell. The Belko Experiment (2017)
