Can't you put some natural deterrent that would prevent them from eating your trees?

Nah, not in a residential area. A friend has an enormous property with a big pond and deer like to hang there early in the morning.

Hunting areas one thing, residential another imo.

Couple things.

Had to actually work grill tonight so that was fun,

I’m outside city no shooting zones and have plenty of space. I also satellite imaged the land and can have everything traveling down towards the ground, into trees, with a quarry site with a large berm in direct line.

So yes I can shoot, guy who had house before me has a deer stand and had like 20+ racks.

That being said I’m not interested in going after either of those two. Maybe some large boyo will wanna come bang sometime in the next few months if she has good water and nice person feed her baby apples.

Also that was close enough for pictures. I went down about halfway between we’re I took and the apple tree is. But I’m not really feeling getting more than 10 feet from the deck with mom and her baby even if they seemed to not mind me, and when I was that close I’m not fukking around with a phone.

Know these feels, somewhat. I get a lot of deer that come chill on my property. This summer, I had this one doe and her 2 babies hang around. Friggin' doe actually hopped my garden fence and started helping herself to my cucumbers while her babies stood around and humped each other (srs). I had to increase the height of my garden fence.

I'm such a soft bish when it comes to animals that I'd just leave out broccoli stems, cabbage butts, and other veg they like so that I could sit on my porch and watch them. They are beautiful creatures after all. However, as louis ck put it, they definitely fit the description of 'rats with hooves.' I can't even imagine how much a moose could ravage a property.
