Has anyone else noticed people just seem more “awkward” now? Yesterday at work some guy came out of the bathroom with toilet paper stuck to his shoe. And people are constantly walking into me, doing the awkward “should I go left or right” ritual.

This awkward chit seems to have become a daily ritual. It wasn’t like this before 2012 - awkward situations were much less common; certainly not happening multiple times a day everyday.

Even King Charles had a stumble during his recent inauguration. Not only were there leaky pens when signing the document, but look what happens at 0:25

Yes everywhere you go there's an issue now. Either something doesn't work right or people are being incompetent, weird mannerisms, being anti social etc. Always some kind of weird energy in the room nowadays. It didn't used to be like this.

People are constantly walking into me and getting into my personal space it's like people have no spatial awareness anymore

You have to watch out when you go places or if you're out driving because someone can legit run into you i saw someone run straight through a red light yesterday

Yeah that's a really good point. Usually when I think of cool stuff I think; explosions, random max energy, in your face, ripped 7% bf gel spiked, loud, cocky aggressive, sick designs and stuff like that. But as u mentioned with those guys, it's true, they were just normal people off and on camera. They would talk crap to eachother and do guy stuff.



There's tons of interview footage from 2001-2004 of this kind of stuff, it's awesome. Such cool people that I would hang out with. Just proper fun. Paul Walker was definitely the coolest actor out there by far.

Exactly, they don't look all floozy with bender type outfits and piercings/tattoos talking all weird slang as if they've got like 2-3 brain cells. Greg Plitt was probably one of the coolest guys in lifting, his hotel workout videos were insane, nothing is on that caliber now.

Workout videos are so awkward now. It's unbelievabley boring.

lol miscers are so funny...its called aging boys. every 10 years...your generation gets less and less relevant. Your grand dad listened to waylon jennings and tom t hall... now country is nothing but liberal soy boys rapping about tractors and chit beer. Every generation gets phased out. No funny business going on, you're just irrelevant and old, coming from a guy whos 33 and totally irrelevant/old. I dont understand tik tok, or the face tatted freak show rappers, and i don't want to. The car scene died out because people grew up and the fast and furious became a parody of itself. When you're in your 30's and 40's you are typically raising kids, fuking your wife, working your balls off to support a family. The stuff you guys talk about is stuff for kids of a certain generation. The kids coming up now dont have the same pop culture chit. We had badass chit like fight club, the OG fast and furious, etc. These kids are growing up with an iphone, trannies, and electric cars. Of course they're gonna be cucked fat slobs. I remember the first time seeing vin diesel in 2001 watching the fast and furious i was like holy chit i wanna be like that dude (no homo). There are really no men like that anymore in movies...its all women being the superhero now.

Nah man dudes were always into heavy music, cars, lifting/sports and stuff like that....at least since the 70's. What has changed is the culture is mostly social media based crap now like tik tok/youtube influencer stuff and a bunch of other lame crap like watching anime/playing videogames all day. Do you really think Paul Walker or Gregg Plitt would be making dumb videos on tik tok and youtube? No they'd be doing the same thing which is driving awesome cars, lifting weights, being outside doing chit etc. Heavy music has been a thing since the early 80s with bands like Metallica. Literally nobody listens to that stuff anymore, it's all rap now. Also all those guys were in great shape and took pride in their appearance. Nowadays the average man is like 29% bf and just sits inside all day.

Yeah totally different back then. You could make jokes and people got along no problem. Also Fast and the Furious was huge i remember everyone wanted those japanese ricers at the time and we all rushed out to get the latest racing game like Need for Speed/Gran Turismo. Those type of games don't even get popular anymore like Fortnite, Horizon Forbidden West etc. I rarely ever see any ricers or sound systems out on the road. Everyone is driving the same eco car or SUV now. If you even try to talk about a fast car now you'll just get bertstared by a dude saying he's just glad he has a car that takes him from point a to point b and that's the end of the conversation. Honestly man 2014-2015 was the last time i heard any talk about cars and chit. Nobody seems to care anymore except boomers.

I literally even remember around 2012-2014 people asking me constantly about by car and what system was in it. We'd race around the parking lots and do burnouts and chit. If we weren't doing that we'd blare music and just take off down the road for an hour or two. This was just every day stuff back then and it was way better than looking at a damn phone lol

Yeah, people aren't really social anymore. Have u seen how awkward people are, most people can't even form a lousy sentence. The majority of people are just happy to wait indoors infront of some kind of screen. Even the Cod/Halo nerds had a balance, that same group of people would probably hang out at the park later on. Doing something to stimulate their brains.

I noticed that, I used to flip over my Ps2 game case and it would say "2-4 players" which was tough because my TV was like 12 inches. We have much bigger TVs now, flipped over some Xbox One game and lol, it doesn't even mention offline multiplayer. I don't even look forward to new games.

Yeah, it was pretty common for guys to head over eachothers houses to play cod zombies on split screen and blast music with monster energy cans everywhere. Heading on free for all quickscoping for ages, tackling eachother when we missed a shot and yelling like retards. That was good fun.

Man, I used to go to the library/cybercafe with my brother and his friends. We'd all be on the computers playing flash games and I'd run back and forth leaking eachothers Runescape gold farming methods.

Nothing is comparable to those utopias. Now people of all age ranges are unsatisfied with their £4000+ PC setup eating oatmeal/gluten free yoghurt home alone while their friends are out saving up for a £4000+ setup so they can also be unsatisfied home alone.

Whereas before I spent hours restarting my Ps2 while changing the date and time so the Simpsons Hit and Run home screen would look all Christmassy lol.

10 years ago your average dude would be on the internet what....30 minutes? Only introverted nerds and intellectuals were on the internet for any significant time in 2011. I didn't even have a phone or social media until i was like 24. Now the entire culture is based on different social media apps and the internet. Even games are mostly people buying them to play online. People don't play single player games that much anymore they stream it on twitch to show off their microtransactions and chit. It's just crazy to think that when i was 23 i don't remember anyone ever being on the internet or even having a phone and now people are on them 10 hours per day. It isn't normal at all.

And this isn't even including the phone games like Candy Crush or Steam deck which i'm sure people spend at least an hour on per day.

Yeah, the stuff that happens on a daily basis is that of a comedy sketch. Nobody has confidence anyways. Before you'd have guys yelling like hooligans and now guys can't even hold a conversation.

Yeah, sucks how people can't make or take jokes. Nobody even wants to talk these days. Evidently you don't even have to talk, most stuff is automated anyways so life enables you to be a lazy fatass. It's like nobody is alive, just wandering the planet like morons to pay rent, supplying a piece of crap boring unfulfilling life. Man, the men now stress over sending a text or eating gluten. Nobody has common sense and they fail to interpret jokes. Just because I call you out on talking about anime or make a fat joke, it doesn't mean I hate fat people or want to eliminate anime. People's brains are mush I swear. Look at any recording of a group of friends before 2011 and they're all giving eachother **** and laughing. People were tougher and nobody gave a crap. A guy now would have a mental breakdown and wait in the corner.

Games like Nfs Underground/Gran Turismo are a statement in time of their time. I mean look how epic it all looks even now. It's just insanely flashy. When u look at these new games that u mentioned, it just doesn't mean anything. They're just kind of there. Just stale videogames that really won't be remembered for looking good. Similar with current popstars. They're just popular for the sake of it. Real talent isn't praised anymore.


Haha lol, what even happened to ur friends who were into cars/guy stuff? Are they just not into it anymore? Funny that now if you mention a fast car to an adult male they'd just say a Ferrari or Lamborghini like retards, that kind of response is on par with a woman's response lol.

What car did u have in 2012? Most guys just had ****boxes and just did burnouts on fields. Man, people aren't even joyfull anymore, just 0 energy doing stale things like collecting anime dolls or entering code into a computer.

My college years were 2008-2013. I am very happy that I didn't have to deal with hardly any social media nonsense. It was only just beginning near the end.

Can you imagine what a college party is like now? A bunch of simps all standing around with their eyes glued to their phones, and none of the girls will chat any of them up because they already have chad from tinder coming over later. What do people even talk about anymore? Netflix and covid? So sad.
