Like I can't believe you're this braindead that you don't even know what happened in 1971. Chit is a matter of public record. You seem shocked that Nixon and Kissinger were pieces of chit.

I don't know. Why do Germans wish to dominate the other Europeans?

Why did the Germans set up the Euro? They extended their credit line to countries which didn't have an equivalent economic situation as Germany. Those nations then bought goods and services from germany with debt. They are now heavily indebted to Germany.

It's a situation where a much smarter nation tricks a stupider people by pretending to be their friends.

You didn’t delete sht. I’ve literally got it on another browser and you’re just lying your ass off.

And I’m confused now, shouldn’t you like Kissinger and Nixon? They did make peace with China after all.

I haven't changed my original post. I deleted it in the quote and quoted it to you so you'd address it. But you refuse. Nobody is lying except you. You fixated on wikipedia and claimed someone edited it. I said fine. Forget wikipedia. Check elsewhere. You refuse. You're literally pretending 1971 didn't happen, and I'm frankly amazed at this level of dishonesty. I linked you other chit. I linked you news reports and a NY Times article. And you can look up the damn documents. It's public record.

I've been to Iran, and I've been to Canuckistan.

One had a policy of locking kids up in Catholic schools where they were raped, and the govt had to be shamed into doing something about it.

The other is Iran.

Is it true that Canada took 150,000 children from their parents and forced them into schools designed to erase their culture, while raping and murdering them?

If you force a populations children away from their culture is that considered genocide?

That's what reality shows. But Iran hates Israel! We can't have that!!!!! Iran is obviously the worse place!

There are many countries in Europe that profited from the Euro more than Germany. If you wait for everybody to have an equivalent economic situation, we'd still have different currencies everywhere until the end of time. With the Eurozone you have a giant unified trade market with same currency that has a gigantic potential for everybody in it. Why do countries with a less favorable economic situation like Croatia still apply for Euro adaption? They see the advantages and potential of this trade union. I think you as a briton also see the differences after you left this union.

Is there something going on? It's strange that this random military guy declared there will be no mobilization and Putin is nowhere to be seen for his sheduled speech?

I strongly disagree. Instituting a single curency across numerous regions with different economic landscapes will always result in winners and losers.

In single countries the currency can harm one region while benefitting another.

I am not sure why anyone would want to join the Euro. I imagine they think short term they can icnrease their purchasing power, resulting in economic growth and achieving a more advanced economy. In reality they're likely to damage their export industries; while increasing the price of goods; but atleast they can have a flagship German train system to show as progress.

I voted for Brexit and am very glad to have done so.

Which nation benefitted more than Germany? The Germans used the Euro as a currency manipulation to artificially undervalue their currency to make their exports more competitive. They then extended their credit line to nations with backwards and beleagured economies so that they could purchase big ticket items from germany (industrial equipment, train systems) and on a personal level small ticket items (cars). The nations with the extended credit line then got into both significant sovereign and personal debts. The end result is a Germany with a huge export economy and very low debt:GDP ratio.

While maany Southern European states are on their knees.

I never left; I was born in the UK.

I am from an Iranian Ethnic background. I never said anything bad about the UK, just Germany and the US.

The UK is in the top two of my favourite countries.

How can you prevent this though? Make a different currency for every country and every region within one country? It was like this in medieval times and trade was chit.

I'd say all the countries who benefitted more are the ones that have a more favorable economy and higher GDP compared to Germany, which are basically all countries north of Germany plus Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and Ireland.

I think the Brexit was a huge mistake for UK but I also hope it's not the case. A weak UK would also weaken the EU.

I expanded on my comment in an edit. In case you didn't see it:

Which nation benefitted more than Germany? The Germans used the Euro as a currency manipulation tool to artificially undervalue their currency to make their exports more competitive.

To add to this. The currency manipulation of Germany gave their manufactureres an unfair competitive advantage over non-German European businesses; who after adopting the Euro had Forex parity with german manufacturers.

Obviously it's not possible to have extremely regionalised currencies, i was just making the point a currency can benefit one region while hurting another; depending on the strength and type of economy they have.

I think Brexit could be a mistake or an opportunity it depends on the quality of the British governments that follow. Brexit has created room for the UK to develop beyond it's previous EU position and I think our new administration, under Liz Truss, are taking the correct route to achieve that.

I'm not gonna deny that Germany profited from the Euro as an export nation. However, I don't think there was an unfair advantage or manipulation in place. I think it's hard to predict what would've been if there was no Euro. I doubt the southern european states would've done better without it and I'm pretty sure eastern european countries like the baltics and Poland would still be poverty without the Euro and the union.

I hope that Liz Truss finally get things going in UK.

So the new spot for the announcement now is tomorrow from 9:00 to 10:00 Moscow time. It seems there's quite some shuffling going on in the Kremlin that has to be sorted out over night.

yes I don't agree with the current UK position on the Ukraine War.

I believe that the US had intentionally pushed Russia past it's redlines so they can start a proxy war, using the Ukranian people as their defacto soldiers (cannon fodder). The goal of this action was to settle some 1980's score with Russia.

The main winner from this conflict is the US. The US has began selling it's military equipment in record numebrs to NATO members, they have been selling their shale gas in significant amounts to Europe and there has been currency flight from less predictable regions (Europe) to the US. This has strengthened the US economy while hurting the Europeans.

I believe one of the US's secondary goals was to harm Germany who's exports compete with their own and who they have had issue with for buying Russian gas.

The other less significant winner is China who will get cheap Russian Gas and other opportunities with third parties who feel further alienated from the western world.

The Euro is a currency manipulation tool.

Eastern European states did very well out nof the EU. There has essentially been a transfer of wealth from Western to Eastern Europe.

My own father transferred his job to Romania. He had to train the people who would take his job.

The southern European states may not be as developed as they are, but neither would they be so indebted. Unfuortunately for Germany (a miscalculation on their part) the fate of Southern Europe is now their fate.

If Southern Europe goes into a sovereign debt crisis and it will; they will have to bail them out (if they can).

The Germans are a much smarter group than the other Europeans and I believe they planned the use of the Euro to control other Euro states. During the Greek sovereign debt crisis they purchased Greek state assets at massive knockdown prices; while dictating them the terms of the bailout fund. That didn't happen by accident.

he didn't speak, but there will be a referendum in areas in Ukraine where the people will have a choice whether they want to join Russia. It's a brilliant move for Russia tbh; if an area votes to be part of Russia and then Ukraine attacks, Russia can escalate beyond their SMO can classify as at of terror.

Kremlin made an announcement today that Putin would hold a speech at 8pm Moscow Time, and many assumed that he was going to announce mobilization and/or some other chit, since the Duma has just adopted a legislative change today:

Russia's lower chamber of parliament, the State Duma, has approved a bill that toughens punishments for desertion, damage to military property, looting, defection, and insubordination if they are committed during military mobilization or combat situations as the country continues its ongoing unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

The bill was approved on September 20 amid debates among Russian authorities and regional governors about a possible military mobilization, a move that could significantly escalate the war in Ukraine, which is now in its seventh month.

In the article about the crimes, the approved bill replaced the phrase "during armed conflicts or military actions" with "in the period of mobilization or the state of martial law, as well as during war time or while armed conflict and combat activities are under way."

Speech then didn't happen and now I've read some rumours that they will run it from tape "when the people in the Far East wake up", no idea whether this refers to other countries or the Eastern parts of Russia, or whether this has been even confirmed.

Haven't heard anything about any NATO generals saying that we should prepare for war, it only came from dusky, who is not playing with a full deck.

Germany was smart before they let a bunch of women and femboys control their policy. Now they are on the brink of an energy crisis and have huge inflation issues. They bow to Greta, Klaus, and Billy Gates now.
