Looks like it's gonna be pretty badass and those graphics will be beautiful

I'm also stoked for a bonnie and clyde type story, that one mission they showed seems to be earlier in the game. Set up to be a great installment being released 10 years after their last entry, which is still fun as fuk 9 years later

Yeah it will look insane. People seem to have a mental block with game development, saying it looks like gta 5, what game do you think came before this? The final result is not going to look like this at all, they only have skins/textures so it's easier for them to test the game, otherwise there would just be skeletons/lines. (The people testing this are still human) They develop the game with similar mindsets of their last game, and work up on it with new ideas and graphical details, if they release a trailer I'm sure the cars and sky textures would look just like gta 5, these are the real deal, and not some mod.

If it's set in Miami ("Vice City"), then far enough one of the characters is Latina. Ever hear of Griselda Blanco, OP?

In any case, I'm at best cautiously optimistic about this one. I honestly think Rockstar has really fallen off since San Andreas. The first Red Dead was good I didn't particularly love cowboy simulator, and GTA V was a step down from V, which was a HUGE step down from SA. Still, I want to be leaf it'll be good...

We need to face it, the Rockstar we knew and loved is dead and gone. RDR2 was their last hurrah, and they will always be remembered for their PS2 and 360 era games.

Never heard of it, but yeah I don't care that the main character is a woman, I just hope it's not all floozy.

Yeah I just hope this one still has cheat codes lol. Yeah people always said 4 was better than 5 in terms of the physics of the game. I guess that's a sacrifice when making a much bigger game.

GTA4 was the RDR2 of the GTA series. It was the game where they went all out on realism, trying to make the game feel as realistic as possible. GTAV by comparison was a lot more like Red Dead Redemption, sorta more "simcade" where there's some realistic feel but it's still very action video game.

The masterminds in the 00s creating games like Bully and the older gtas made the game good with the story and how polished it looks. Not giving a **** about rules and being banned in tons of countries for being wildy inappropriate for even 00s culture.

Man this gta 6 stuff looks gay. The woman looks like the typical retard at my gym and the guy looks like a freaking nerd. What the heck.

Looks decent, just nothing special. I don’t mind the female protagonist, but I don’t see anything groundbreaking based on the development footage. If we have to wait a decade for essentially a rehash of GTA V (in terms of gameplay), it will be a huge disappointment.

Also, Vice City doesn’t interest me at all. The PS2 era version of VC was cool because it was set in the 80s. A modern version of Miami is far less cool. Unless the map is massive and includes all of Florida, the Caribbean, Latin America and other U.S. states (like Atlanta as a secondary city), I don’t get why Rockstar felt the need to revisit old territory.

They could’ve created an entirely new city based on, let’s say Chicago/Detroit and the Great Lakes region. Plenty of crime stories to tell in the Rust Belt, which they’ve never touched. Or what about the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver)?

Rockstar is running out of ideas it seems.

San Andreas will forever be peak GTA.

What you're getting now is a reflection of the type of people who work there today. Back then, when Rockstar was great, they simply had a vision for something dark and gritty, and they gave zero phucks about trying to please anyone besides the gamers.

A San Andreas style GTA set in the Great Lakes/Rust Belt based on Chicago with Detroit and Cleveland as secondary cities would’ve been amazing. You’d have the gang culture of Chiraq mixed with the rural poverty of Michigan/Ohio and some amazing landscapes to explore. Fuk they could’ve had fun Easter eggs like hunting lake monsters and extended the map to include a Niagara Falls parody. Imagine a game that ambitious with modern graphics. But no, we have to do a lamer version of Vice City again lmao.
