Scotch & Soda used to be GOAT for me. I think they changed their formula a bit, and I haven't bought since cause I stocked up before.

Oh man, I've been on this journey of finding the perfect white tee for a long time. Must've tried 30 brands by now. You need the perfect ratio of cotton to spandex and polyester which is hard to find.
Son of a Tailor is the best, because you can customize every single parameter of a plain tee shirt to fit exactly as you want it.
Cuts curved hem is overpriced but what I wear currently. The more expensive pima cotton fit like sh!t.
Bylt is like Cuts but half the price but I hate the length and the exposed stitching on the sleeves. Lux thicker material than normal Cuts.
Buck mason is good.
I like alphalete/gymshark because of the 94% cotton/6% spandex for gym, but they have giant obnoxious logos and I don't want to be a walking billboard for them.
I used to love Top Man rolled sleeves muscle fit white tees, but they stopped making them, before ASOS bought them out and they turned to crap.

Black Ts - Hanes
White Ts - Old Navy and Gildan
I’ve tried all sorts of brands at all sorts of price ranges. But generally the cheaper shirts fit the best for a casual look, if you want something tight like a fitness look Next Level might be more your cup of tea.

Not sure about USA but in the UK I get all mine from ASOS, always long fit, always with a scoop neck and I only wear white T-shirts, so I own about 20. Got a white dog and her hairs ruin me if I wear any other colour.
Remember the guy that gave up? Neither does anybody else.

I've tried lots of t shirts... BYLT is currently my favorite ($20-25 per shirt, get the lux blend) and Lululemon is second (although they are way too expensive for what they're worth, so I'd go with BYLT)
Fit and cut on BYLT is absolutely perfect if you have an athletic body IMO

When i was a college as a young lifter, i saw a guy in a white V neck t-shirt with good size and mass doing legs and remember the style to this day as an adult.
I got hooked on the breathable moisture wicking shirts for a time(nike), but the simplicity of a white fruit of the loom 2xl v-neck for 15 bucks( 6 pack) at Target can not be underestimated.
it looks good with shorts, jeans, and boots or under a blazer.
