It's my first "meal" where I intentionally avoid carbs.
This has been a couple months now of experimenting with it, and I'm pleased with the results.
Some rides that would previously have been a significant undertaking for me (like the 65 mile ride I did on Sunday riding single speed) feel casual now. Kind of insane.
EDIT: my hydration seems to be positively effected by this, as well.??? who tf knows.

There's absolutely something to this. You're probably staying hydrated from all the food, electrolytes, salt you're getting in the night before.
Makes sense to me that you don't need as much water because there's no food in your stomach so all the blood can go elsewhere and your glycogen stores are full from the night before eating allot.
Good chit

I tried keto for a few months which I guess is a little similar and it made me feel like chit 24/7, also made me weirdly sensitive to caffeine.
I had to quit caffeine and basically had constant heart palpitations no matter how many electrolytes I had, went back on carbs and felt so much better almost immediately. I guess it’s not for me.

In terms of other micronutrients, yeah fatty beef contains absolutely everything you need. You could live off of it for the rest of your life and thrive, which is what Iam doing.

Notice how some people go on those juice fasts and their cancer goes away on an MRI, while it’s totally ineffective for other people. Professor Seyfried swears everyone with cancer should be on Keto, and it works for some, but others find their tumors grow faster on Keto! This is because we are different people, sometimes with different dietary needs.
Aren’t escimos super healthy? They don’t eat no fruit or anything, just fish and sheit. Idk brah.

I felt like keto & carnivore affected thyroid function, but never got tested to confirm. I know for sure it lowered my libido a ton and I had weaker erections even when taking viagra. Sometimes I wonder if some miscers just do not have sex at all. If you have an active sex life, carnivore/keto definitely can hurt it.
**Eat lots and lots of birds. The smaller the bird, the more compact its protein content. Parrots are great sources for protein.**

for sure there are differences in requirement and absorption but to say entire vitamins or minerals are not needed by some kinda mutant human is laughable
this all being said, if he has no symptoms of anything, he's probably more or less fine
the signs of deficiency would definitely be apparent after months, much less years

Recently I've been doing "AM keto" which basically means: I only have black coffee, and some mixed nuts in the morning before my bike rides
I NEVER need to bring food anymore, and only bonk if I'm about 3 hours into my rides now
This has been pretty mind blowing because my overall performance has improved slightly (faster average speed, more power during sprints, etc) and I feel WAY better after I'm done riding... I don't feel like I'm starving to death, and I can just relax when I get home.
It took a very long time to adapt to this because I was always an oatmeal person pre-cardio, or sometimes yogurt/fruit... So to just have some mixed nuts was pretty awful at first.
Now that I see the performance benefit, I naturally keep going this way.
Today I only did a 25 mile ride, but I ate NOTHING before, and never really felt "bonked" during the ride today (about 1hr40min of cycling)
Last Sunday I ate nothing when I woke up, I rode 65 miles (4 hours of riding) and only needed to stop for a small snack after 3 hours.
After I do cardio, or sometimes during my cardio, I'll start eating carbs for the day, and it's no problem.
