Min wage is aprox $1900/month after tax (40 hour week)
It's depressing I've met dudes who work full time + overtime with kids and all they can afford is basements. Imagine going 'home' after a 10 hour work day and you live in a basement under some indian landlords.

Couldn’t imagine being 30 and living with my parents.
Moved out at 21, was allowed to stay at home rent free until I was finished school, then I’d have to pay rent or move out on my own.
Moved out and never looked back. Was so happy to have my own place. Always grateful that my parents allowed me to stay for free while I finished school
