Difference is the culture was balanced back then. Now this is all people listen to. Look at the top 100 songs from each decade pre 2012 and there tons of non degenerate songs. I haven't heard a country, rock or metal song get popular in at least a decade. That is insane considering that music was a huge part of my life growing up.
