There's some good things in that list srs.

I can attest to the fermented foods. I dropped all my bloat and stomach fat on about 8 weeks of keto and I ate things like steak, eggs, cheese, fermented foods like pickles/kimchi/sauerkraut with lunch and dinner meals, snacked on deer jerky and dark chocolate with a little bit of cashew butter, and ate low fodmap veggies like zuchinni, peppers, green beans, radish and spaghetti squash and either sautéed them or made interesting recipes with them. Also I drank bone broth with some coconut oil in it. My stomach has never felt better and my digestion was amazing. No bloating, no gas, no discomfort. I ate tons of different cuts of steak like NY, ribeye, flank steak, or skirt steak and would make chimichurri or put a lot of butter on them. Cheese was the only dairy.

That plus good sleep helped the most imo (obviously along with the exercising).

Honestly no idea. It just started happening during a leg day. I felt some weird sensations a few day before. Then I was doing hack squats with low weight and stopped and went home. I noticed my upper thoracic had discoloration (looking like bruising but wasn't). Then all the symptoms started. I would try to do neck tucks and it felt like it was hitting a brick wall and couldn't go all the way back. All the muscles around my neck and collar bones became so tight and I could not release it no matter what I did. Had to make an emergency Chiro appointment (never been to one before). He literally saved me. It was hard to breath, my upper back was spasming a bit, and it was unbelievable tightness.

I think it was just poor mechanics and poor movement patterns with my scoliosis, and because I wasn't doing any exercises to prevent postural issues from it, everything just got so tight and jammed up that it caused major nerve issues and tightness. Had heart palpitations because the rib ending along the inside of the chest were extremely inflamed, plus had almost no ability to turn one direction throacically.

Still get some nerve stuff here and there, but it is way better and feel almost normal. First time in years my back isn't perpetually tight.

How do you prepare the steak ... Fry them in the pan using butter? I want to get into more steaks, but I just end up pan frying them with some butter or oliveoil ... it doesn't seem like a healthy way to cut though, since I'm cutting too.

It doesn't seem like good cutting food, but it is the best. srs. I'll link 2 videos that show how I usually cook all my ribeye and NY strip cuts. I usually used Ghee or olive oil, then add in the unsalted butter, thyme or rosemary, and garlic after the first flip. I cook mine medium rare. I grill my marinated flank and skirt steaks. I think the most important things when cooking a regular cut like ribeye or NY is having them sit out to get to room temperature first before cooking and also wiping them dry. It'll cook through much better and more evenly and the less juice from the steak will allow you to get a good sear. Plus you baste the steak with the butter you add in the pan like in Gordons video and it makes it very juicy. The second video with susur lee works very well too. Just have to experiment a bit. Hope this helps brah.

Thanks boyo. Yea I got lucky with my frame but my arms are seriously dyel mode. I got screwed on upper arm genetics hard haha.

The chiropractor I went to (who is jacked) said my upper traps were strong but my mid traps were very weak and imbalanced in comparison, hence what was probably part of my problem. You'll be fine brah. Don't forget I have scoliosis so things are little different for me. Posture was the big issue for me too.

Looking good, OP.

I think the physique + beard is a great combo. I rock the '3 day stubble buzz cut' look, 6'0". I tried growing the beard but it was too much of a hassle for me - I get these "super hairs" that are 10x as thick as a normal hair, and I can dig them out of my skin with my fingernails. Sounds crazy right? I know some guys who get those too.

Thanks brah. Yea I think the short beard/stubble is a good look too. I'm going for the big beard again which is annoying but I love it for winter. I'm just in that awkward phase right now of growth. And thankfully I don't get those "super hairs" you're talking about haha. Sounds crazy srs.

Yeah, heh. It is perfect for winter - I have always loved the stubble/clipped head/hair as I have tended to live in warmer climates.

Good for you - and nice to see a physique thread.

I might hop on a 2023 Aesthetics Crew thread...once I deal with my winged scapula.

Yup it's easy and aesthetic looking. You get it.

Thanks boyo. Always good to have a physique thread in the misc these days since they're pretty rare now haha

Well several misers and I will be waiting for you joining of the aesthetics crew. Yes deal with that winged scapula before coming back. That chits pretty brutal to deal with.
