I buy the generic from Aldi though.

- cup of instant rice in a bowl
- boil a cup of water in a kettle
- add water to rice and cover with a lid or a plate

Is it literally 1 minute? Probably not, but it is definitely not 15 minutes.

That orange packet rice is done in like 3 secs. Pretty sure thatโ€™s just to heat it up and you could eat it out of the bag.

I always cook 4 cups of Jasmine rice on a poverty Aroma rice cooker. Takes like 20 mins, which includes the cleaning of the rice. Lasts me the entire week.
Weโ€™re all gonna make it.
