Any idea when that's gonna be?
It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

I hope there’s a good bounce for 1-2 weeks.

If there is a bounce, I don’t think it will be long lasting though.

Only reason we saw a drop in fuel this last time was because of a market rally with news. When it goes back up, it will be higher than the previous prices

It seems to reason that:
-inflation has peaked and will slowly crawl down, led by housing deflation
-markets will improve as we head into the holiday season
-markets will chit the bed in March. Maybe as early as February if holiday spending reports come in below expected.

It was funny reading the cnn articles. They were praising him for lowering gas prices with oil reserves even though any article that came out before said it would have minimal effect.

No mention that demand was in the crapper because prices were so high obviously. Just Biden good republicans bad.

Yeah, 90% of people are not going to rush out and buy an electric car, they are just going sacrifice their vacations and trips and focus on local stuff. Not only does that decrease demand, but it also decreases tourism in other states, causing them to suffer as well

With major market indexes falling further since July, experts say losses from financial markets could total $9.5 trillion to $10 trillion.

Economists say the drops could add pressure to Americans’ balance sheets and possibly hurting spending.

I think it will last longer than the last major rally, the Fed is very likely going to slow the rate hikes in Nov and Dec, you should know what that means <3.

That will help, Rs taking control would blunt the spending on all things except Ukraine and limited spending will take some pressure off the Fed.

Real talk

To put this in perspective -

Today isSeptember 30 2022

The Dow is -550.83 fromFebruary 12 202029,276.34 closing.

Don’t even want to do vs inflation math.

With trillions pumped in…..

It is also interesting to see how much cash on hand the portfolio managers have right now according to BOA.
