Just finished the first half of the Bible, my favorite part so far is

Where it says if I rape a woman, I then have to marry her to make things right with her father. This works out well because there's this sweet, beautiful kind hearted 18 year old virgin in one of my uni classes that I've had my eye on. Complete marriage material. I've discovered that she walks home late at night from class by herself through a quiet neighborhood, and this would probably be my best chance. I just bought a used 1987 Cheverlet Express Cargo Van and a rag soaked in a colorless liquid that quickly evaporates into gas. Should be a good story to tell years from now when our kids ask how me and their mother met.

I am at book Esther now. read 600 pages.
I think most books are good like 7/10. But yeah the bible god is a ****ing monster lol

It’s not easy to deny yourself and overcome your anger toward gods wisdom and discipline but if you don’t your toast. I find it hard to deny myself and serve him too. Just My soul is damned when I die if I never do so.

Brah, I fully follow the NT and its messages. I do believe god though will still love me even if I don't fully embrace some of the stories in the OT.

You just gotta trust him whether you don’t understand his definition of all loving or not. I mean people can try to argue even curse him but I’d advise them not carrying that prideful hate toward god to their grave

Soon can mean many different things. 20 years, 50 years, 100 years...we just don't know. They say this because they want people to repent and receive salvation just in case something bad happens and they are dead. It's all about spreading the gospel and people getting saved. Better to be safe than sorry.

The trinity means that God is an essence and he has energies which proceed from him. The energies are his operations or creations within the world.

For instance we cannot know the mind of god (his essence) as we are just mere mortals but we can know god through his energies like the son and the holy spirit. It is these energies that god uses to interact within the world. So our knowledge of god comes from the energies that proceed from him like the son or the holy spirit which we observe in the world, or have observed within the world, but these energies are not the same as gods essence or mind which is ultimately unknowable to us. This is known as the essence-energy distinction in Orthodox Christian theology. The Orthodox Church is historically the first church.

Even in Genesis it starts with plurality or trinity, "let us go over the waters", tower of babel it says "let us go down and disrupt their language" etc so the plurality and trinity is always constant in scripture.

Why is it that Judaism's view of the Holy Spirit is completely different to the one many "Christians" believe? It's a force, not a being or part of a being. A force that is from God. It's what God uses to enact his will.

The NT also has a more convincing argument that Jesus is NOT god (or a part of "it").

OT YHWH and NT YHWH are different entities btw.
