Planning a trip/road trip - any suggestions?

It's me and 2 of the boys. We're into the EDM and rock scene, and jazz to a lesser extent. Absolutely no rap or hip hop is listened to between the 3 of us. Starting point is south florida. Need a break from the cancerous miami scene.

If you're traveling for music (as you suggest), then google search which musical events are happening in the areas you plan to travel

new orleans isnt too far of a drive. youll probably get raped by the natives when you get there though

Daytona, Myrtle, Gatlinburg, then take the blue ridge parkway north. Lots of mountain towns should be having fall festivals. Perfect time of year to check out new river gorge or stuff around Damascus.
