I don't know how much you play poker but I play a lot. Mainly in Vegas at Aria and the Wynn. And I have seen many calls as bad or worse than that one. Not for that much money mind you, but calls just as bad. And as I said, she said she 'thought' she had a pair or 3s and at best Garret had Ace high. Which means in her mind she has him beat going into the river. Would I bet $120 k on that?
Hell no. But as I said she is wealthy, was not playing with her money, wanted to make a name for herself in the poker world, and thought she had a read on him.
Her poker coach was interviewed in that podcast above and he said she does stuff like that all of the time. Not smart....but she does it.
As for G mans reaction? What if he had won the hand when she flipped over J 4? He would have been all smiles. He didn't care about the call, in fact I am sure if you asked him he would have wanted her to make the call. He just didn't like the fact that he lost to the call.

Ofc people saw it anyway and now she's blaming misogyny.
Again, that is old news. Watch some of the interviews she has done since. She explained that she made a deal with Garret to give back the money if he would return to the game. She doesn't care about the money. It wasn't even hers as she was staked. She said she didn't want the star of the show Garret to leave the game and give her a bad rep.

And then he took the money and never returned to the game. So he took her to the cleaners.....twice lol.

And btw Hustler casino saying that? Opens them up BIGTIME to a huge lawsuit if no proof of cheating is found. It is basically extortion. No one I have ever heard of has given back money from a poker win. So they f'd up big time if Ryan from HCL and Hustler said that. Which from what I understand? He did.

Fact that she's being staked, and married to a rich dude, can tell the money didn't mean that much to her. Like when she ran it twice it was just "who gives a chit" attitude.
If they were both the blinds and he's constantly bullying people, it makes sense that she puts him on a draw that he's so far missed. Still a retarded call, but when you're staked and the money doesn't mean that much to you and you know your opponent, it at least semi makes sense.

It's almost like a "I will attempt to ruin your reputation and call you a cheater if you don't repay me on a bad beat" threat. Probably why he pulled that here, because it worked for him before. Wonder how many times he's pulled that.

Talked about this in the other thread, but here's the gist of it -
She's literally a retard. A lot of retards don't think logically when they play, or don't even think logically in life in general.
Players like her exist in the games all day long... ALL DAY LONG.
She's not a poker pro, she's a rich bimbo, people calling her a poker professional really dunno what they're talking about.
It's like YOU going onto a football field right now, and claiming you're an nfl pro. It's actually worse than that, because you'd probably be somewhat competent. Some people that play poker are literally retards. "But how could she make that call no way" ... trust me, I play 100k+ hands per month, I see this **** all the time. It doesn't make sense. Don't try an attribute any logical thinking on their part. "But there's no way she could make that call without cheating." Truuuust me. Just stop thinking that she's thinking. She's not. She's a dumb bimbo. "But that's what she wants you to think. heh. that's how she gets her edge." No, no and ****ing no. Literally a dumb bimbo, end of story.

Her explanation made no sense. Says she misread her hand and thought she had the 3 on turn when she checked her cards for a while.
Explains that she thought garret had ace high, but she only has J high.
She sounds like a complete noob as she was throwing around poker terms without really understanding what they mean.
She may have known what Garrets hand was and thought she was ahead (cos noob) not knowing she was behind on odds. Or someone could just signal to her that garret has low numbers and no pair, she doesn’t understand the odds so naturally she thinks she’s ahead.
I can’t see why she would call with J high unless she just thought garret had no pair and placed him on 6/7 or something. Then again, why the terrible explanation as if she’s getting caught red handed and then giving the money back. May have just been a nervous reaction though.

I think we already established that she is a retard.
There are some people who are in the camp that it's either she's a retard that got lucky or she's a cheater, but like I said before, that's not mutually exclusive.
You can have outside help while being a terrible player and not using the help to it's fullest potential.

And again, no one who is cheating asks to run it twice as you said lol.
And further, if she was cheating? That means Hustler casino, or someone who works there, was in on it. Which Garret just said a few months ago that Hustler would never cheat and even said yesterday was not possible lol. So which one is it?
How in THE HELL WOULD SHE HAVE HAD THE TECH and smarts to cheat with no one knowing? It's ridiculous. This is not a Mike Postle situation where he was looking at his phone. She had nothing around her to give her any info whatsoever. Could she have been signaled? Of course. But again that means someone from Hustler was helping her, which again Garret said is impossible lol.

I will say this, when she was thinking about calling she asked Garrett "Can you beat a pair of 3s"? Implying she thought she had a pair of 3s.
Then when she turned her cards over and saw no 3? Complete embarrassment.
I almost did that last time I played at Aria. I thought I had something different than I actually did and even said "you're good" and was throwing in my hand. Luckily a guy next to me saw me right before I did it and saw I actually had a straight. I was embarrassed as ****.
So trust me it can happen, especially since she had the J 3 the hand right before that.

Basically comes down to a bimbo winning the odds. She placed him below 10 and no pairs. Maybe a 6/7 clubs and she thought she had a club blocker.
Her explanation on placing him on Ace high made 0 sense though, and same with thinking she had a 3.

This wasn't a tournament but a live streamed cash game from Hustler Casino. They do that every Mon-Fri.
She started to play about a year ago. Learned from her husband. Is getting coaching now and her coach said she is very beginner levelish. Knows the basics but that is about it. He is interviewed in that podcast I posted above.

Basically comes down to a bimbo winning the odds. She placed him below 10 and no pairs. Maybe a 6/7 clubs and she thought she had a club blocker.
Her explanation on placing him on Ace high made 0 sense though, and same with thinking she had a 3.

Calling the flop was probably just a noob move, specially if she thought Garret had an Ace high. Which we would have to buy if we’re buying her misread hand explanation. Only explanation is she thought 9,10,J somehow gave her better odds to catch a straight…

Of course, if she was to make her own bluff (I forgot the exact move on turn whether she had a chance to shove on his bet), then calling out his ace high bluff would make more sense.

She started to play about a year ago. Learned from her husband. Is getting coaching now and her coach said she is very beginner levelish. Knows the basics but that is about it. He is interviewed in that podcast I posted above.

https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comme...the_whole_hand
Checks her hand at 2:20, lifts them for about 10 seconds, then puts a time chip in, you're telling me that she still misread her hand?
At around 4:30, he puts her on something like pocket 5's or has a 3, he asks "do you have a small pair?"
She replies: "You give me that much credit?", which implies she knew she didn't even have a pair...
The reasoning you guys pointed out and the interviews afterwards sounds like somebody committing a crime and then having some time afterwards to put their alibis and stories together.
Also there was a guy playing at that table who staked her? How's that even allowed.
I'm sticking to the anal plug theory signaling somehow she was technically ahead but not knowing full depth and odds of the hand.

Illogical being does something illogical
'Logical' Folk asses the illogical being in what is actually an illogical way, in that they assume illogical being is acting with logic.
The 'Logical Folk' are being illogical for doing that.
'Logical folk' spas out too and become illogical.
Logic all around is 1/10

The only thing that’s certain is that she’s retarded
If she was cheating, calling someone’s all in with J high is retarded. He had so many outs and you can easily pick a better spot to avoid being outed as a cheater if you know your opponents hands
If she wasn’t cheating, it was an absolute retard level play
