Has 2022 been the worst year in recent memory?

Like over the past 20?

Yes, Covid lockdowns in 2020 were chit, but we at least got 3 months at the beginning of 2020 that were amazing packed with energy. And outside of the first couple months lockdowns weren’t that bad because there were few expectations and you could basically do whatever you wanted with no repercussions.

In 2022, everyone seems angry because they’re overworked and costs are outrageously high. Delays on everything, supply chains still not resolved, high interest rates causing everyone’s work to slowly dry up. Fewer people traveling than 2021.

I’d say above all, just the overall vibes suck this year. Nobody is super excited about anything, it’s all just a lot of people going through the motions. Need to get the fuk out of the US ASAP.

Your thoughts? I don’t even remember 2009 being this bad, although I was just finishing college then and kinda wanted to fuk around for a year anyways.

Man I’ve been feeling the same way. I think a lot of people just feel lost, bored and unmotivated due to how out of reach a good life is for most people.

2008-2009 were the worst years of my life. Parents lived in an apartment living paycheck to paycheck. Mom lost her job and Dad had his hours severely reduced. and we were basically homeless for a year. Covid does not compare to this.

2020-2021 was mostly just anxiety from not knowing what braindead laws Democrats were trying to pass on everyone (e.g.forced experimental injection or lose employment in the state and bich-ass employers trying to force employees to get clot shot or be terminated.)

I am making more money now than I ever was. The only people who were really ****ed are those that didn't bother to invest in their future. E.g. MIL working minimum wage and had her hours cut to only 5 a week now, but still refuses to find another job because her "employer treats her so well."

People whose lives are stagnant are the only ones who suffered worse under covid than 2008.

I was never in danger of being homeless.

Even my uneducated parents were never in danger of being homeless from covid and they are still living paycheck to paycheck.

Maybe it's because I lived in Temecula since there is basically no economy over there.

2022 has been pretty lame. Companies seem to be too stupid when it comes to hiring people so all of us that have jobs like normal people are overworked and burnt out.

2020-the panic began at the end of 2019. Didn't even bother watching the World Snooker Championship that year, because it was held in an empty Crucible Theatre after day one, until the final-where just a small number were allowed in.

Honestly people's spirits are just crushed from social media, covid, inflation subconscious anxiety over nuclear war etc I've seen so many people just shut down recently it seems like a lot of people developed cluster b in the last 2 years. There's just too much negativity going on but idk how to fix it. It's like social media just broke people's brains from working properly or something

It's ridiculous as fuq how ****gy people are. I was gonna go grocery shopping and pickup mcdonalds yday but decided to just stay in so I won't have to deal with some ****g0t fuqn with me.

Woke up early so I can just do my grocery shopping while everyone is sleeping
