Passing legislation isn't his role, and beyond his official capacity most people expect much more from the office. I'd guess the vast majority of people expect more truth from the POTUS than say, CNN or some other cable news outlet or internet news blog.

Maybe it's been too long so it's been forgotten, or maybe priorities have changed and the messenger is now more in focus than the message, but IMO a competent POTUS (including Biden) isn't supposed to leave his message open to interpretation to the point the media can spin it into a "hoax". The message should be presented with no ambiguity, so CNN and FOX can't possibly shout it down or convince a critical mass to hear something that wasn't said.

I don't, as a whole the media are completely unethical douchebags who will say anything to gather an audience for their advertisers.

The POTUS should never be outdone by that fact. Just for example, Trump obviously didn't want Americans to drink bleach but how the fuk did he let that drive the narrative for so long? It's because he was sloppy and played right into the hands of the douchebags on TV. Biden has dozens of these same failures.

I don't think anyone wants a sloppy POTUS, our options were what they were and I completely get why people would vote one way or another. I'm arguing that if somehow we were able to elect serious, competent representatives from either party then most of the issues with the media would go away. i.e. media is mostly a symptom, not the disease.
